Seeds in Buds

I bought an ounce from a friend that is loaded in seeds (I was pre-warned and it was super cheap)

So every bud broken up to roll a typical joint will have about 2 seeds on average, so this is fairly seeded, but not as much as a Mexican low grade pot.

I'm thinking this plant likely got hit with male pollen to produce so many seeds....as opposed to my recent grow which one plant produced a few seeds.

So my question is, can a hermie produce a shit load of seeds, or is it more typical to just produce the odd one?

In my personal experience it has depending on which stage of flowering it hermies, early on would produce shit loads of seeds but late on in theory would produce less??

that makes sense, but I have zero history or knowledge of this plant

likely the only way to prove if it was pollinated or a hermie would be to grow a few

if the seeds produce any males, then I guess it was naturally polinated...but if all females, then it was likely a hermie

A hermie can produce a butt load of seeds on the hermie plant and anything else within arms reach. My personal worst hermie was in the 20+ seeds to get enough weed to roll a joint.

Is your question related to a follow up question.. Should I grow it? If so yes. You should.. Experience is priceless

Could have been outside pollinated by a male right next to it.. Could have been a hermi inside who knows. Sometimes they herm right off the bat and see is a shit ton of seeds, some times its later in flower and there is few... No way to know really unless you can find male pollen sacks or the what remains of them in the bud, but in my experience these wither and fall off very easily leaving no trace
