i like how sub staples the seeds sealed with the package,and swerve puts that strain label around the seed pack container to seal it off, OGR never seals his stuff!! and greedy people could be shady and switch beans or something lol..

thats my only complaint..he does hook it up with 11 beans in his new packs though!!!

Oh, I never thought about someone switching out the seeds, that would not be cool. Can't wait to see those beans popped I know a bunch of local guys are rocking the wifi right now and I love white crosses I harvested from clones I picked up at American Eagle. The White Strawberry is my fave I think.

I would go back today since they're on sale at zen oc, that's a good savings if you're buying the quantity you are buying.

Why not just order seeds online?

TGA is a good one. Rare Dankness is a new team on the block with some cool gear. And Sannie has a couple breeders on his site (not attitude), limited selection but absolute dankness throughout the menu.

Alright everybody, I am a first time grower so get ready for some ignorent questions because I don't know what to believe on the net. I am reading a lot of herm concerns from seeds grown from TGA and Subcool. What strains seem to be the most free of this herm tendency? Next has anybody heard of a sativa strain called "Jeepers Creepers"? I am working on some right now but the guy I got it from I'm sure is an experienced grower but I am also sure he is a bit full of shit at the same time. What seems to be the best medicle strains for sleep/relax and what seems to be the best for awake pain relief and non-couch locked? Is there a strain that actually gives the patient energy with pain relief?

Next question from the new guy. Why would making fem seeds be selling out?

i dont like to order online anymore i ordered my first seeds on sept 10th
and i still dont have them in my possession.

they are in route to my 3'rd safe mailing addy for the 3rd time after being
re-sent for the 3rd time,kept saying they were returned back.

so since then ive bought 8 packs around socal.

fem seeds sell out because people want LESS males
in their seed packs.

but sometimes fem seeds are more hermie
prone then regular seeds. as the plant is somehow hermie'd
to collect pollen then pollenate the same strain for S1 seeds
or other crosses for female seeds.

Seeds are worth it if you dont have anyone around with reputable
strains to get some cuts from.

as most people dont just give out their top genetics.
and this is why i dont get the clone demand

unless its a clone dedicated shop who actually cares if their cuts are dank
or legit.

but some random club with a bunch of clones n strains.im doubting most
of them are the legit strain.or a top notch pheno of it.

a member on here has even told me he keeps a weak genetic plant around just to sell
the cuts to the shops.

so,even with a legit breeder you might be bound to get a hermie,
a mutant growing plant, etc.

just clone every plant from seed,and mark both mom and cuts,
then pick the best phenos as far as quality,yield,flavor,potency goes etc.
once done flowering them all.

one that didnt hermie of course.

That's really weird. Did you get the discreet shipping?

I've even had them delivered to non-MMJ states and things went smooth everytime. Can't really see why it would be a problem coming to Cali..

I've used sensibleseeds.com, the singleseedcenter.com, and the attitude as well.

Went discreet shipping everytime. 100% Success Rate.

Maybe try that, or just take a roadtrip to a spot with a fly clone-bank and go from there.

i have about 8 plants vegging for flower, and 4 plants vegging into potential mothers,and about 8 packs of seeds im good for right now but i did need some like a month ago really bad lol.

subcool prolly tried to fem some shit and didnt like the end result so he got turned off to it,
but you might want to ask him.

from what ive seen on here and heard people claiming he has unstable hermie genetics.
maybe he didnt want more bad rep with fem seeds.

but i dont always go by what i hear,i bought 10pack TGA subcool Jack the ripper just for fun.

maybe i should fem it for fun and see how those seeds turn out lmao

I just set 5 vortex beans in the germ phase today. Hoping to have them all popped in 3 days. Idk I have heard a lot about herm problems from other people about other TGA strains but I tend to reserve judgement till I experience something for myself. Also from what I have seen in reviews I have not yet heard or read anything about getting Vortex herms. By that fact and the history of it as being easy for beginners and a solid stand by headstash; it was my clear choice to kick off some TGA lines. I'll keep you posted about my Afgahn Kush autos and the Jeepers Creepers lines plants going right now. Till next time good luck with all you have going too. Good times and cheers to all

TGA might be a little finnicky, but well worth it.

Jack the Ripper is fire bro, you can't go wrong with it. I've got 2 cuts from a buddy going right now and god damn...both are nice, but 1 is this hardy monster that is easily top 3 in my garden.

The end results (the buds) are awesome too. Great stone (kinda afternoon/evening-ish for a sativa-dom, which is nice) and a flavor that is truly unique.

The Vortex is a good one too. I have never, let me repeat NEVER, seen a bad batch of the stuff. Even sub-par growers' who manage to cropout with this one produce dank results.

Get the Cali Connections or Raskal. No need to look elsewhere. Subcool is an awsome guy, CC/Raskal just have the true danks though.

Sub won't make fems cause it takes away the genetic purity of the strains...and the fun When fem seeds are made the potential for the hermie/reversing trait. As a grower fems can be great cause the work is all done. But for lots of better grower/breeders are looking for that special pheno that is mybe only one in 100. and yes they could fem that pheno and would in theory you could have the best, but my keeper JTR pheno may not be your keeper and so on.

If you like the strain, LA Confidential by DNA seems to be pretty stable. I ended up having to go with fems on that one, but they turned out pretty good. Not super elite top shelf, but definitely good.

CC has a really nice strain lineup, but i've heard they are really unpredictable pheno-wise because their genetics are a little unstable. Idk though, never grown them personally but I have smoked a decent number of the strains they offer and was never disappointed. For whatever that's worth I guess..

They both represent pretty different flavor/effect profile overall so I guess it boils down to preference. Personally, I really like how off-the-wall TGA's stuff is. Easy to distinguish flavors and really enjoyable highs. The JTR cuts I got are my first experience with growing their gear so i'm pretty excited (I also have 5 Ace of Spades beans from them, next cycle).

CC is on my radar too. Just waiting because i'm a little overloaded with genetics right now. The Jamaican OG caught my eye.

Dead-on about the fems too. I use both but understand the preference for regular. Gotta keep the genepool expanding!

Can I order TGA lines through the Single Seed Centre? I have heard of knock off distributors. I would like to find a US source to order from. Can a Cali distributor ship to Oregon? I am new the game and don't mind expressing it to you veterans, though I'm sure many of my questions will seem very elementary when it comes to getting seeds. However my grow is going awesome.
