so,
i am in northern cali and the weather has been really unpredictable - it was hailing back in april/may.. now i am looking at a 2 day rain storm and i have autoflower seeds cracked and ready to go outside..

can i still plant them outside? what are the dangers of seeds sprouting in rain? will they wash out? mildew? these are in 5 gallons of FF:OC..

thanks for any advice..! i don't have any other place to put these pots but in the rain.. i plan on planting them within the day..

well - the seeds have all cracked now.. i guess i could keep them in water till saturday.. i have had bad luck with keeping them for more than a few days in there..
i want to plant them directly into 5 gallons, but there is no room to keep them out of the rain.. i have a greenhouse, but it is full right now..
this shouldn't be a very strong rain - that is why i ask - what are the dangers?

huh huh cool - i had 666 posts and you hit 555.. :)

they can be overwatered by the rain and die. but as long as your pots drain decently and its not raining 24/7, they should be ok. i wouldnt wait til saturday but thats just me.. im paranoid.. just let mother nature take its course. before we populated this world cannabis managed to keep itself alive in the wild and survive tough situations like this

right.. i think they would be 99% ok.. it is going to be a day and a half of probably light rain.. these pots are nice - i just watered them and i have seen them go through a rain - they don't turn to mush..
i am a bit more worried about keeping them all in water that long.. when i soak seeds that long they usually get icky by like day 4 or 5 even changing the water twice a day..
