seeds ... opinion on best type of high thc strain to grow!!

hi guys ive been smoking weed for a couple of years now and ive decided i wanted to start growing it! im trying to pick seeds that are strong in potency but relativly easy to grow!! ...i was thinkin
greehouse seeds - budda kush
or something auto like lowryder .....
any ideas??? :!:

I have seen too many bad outcomes with good experienced folks growing GHS. Imo a great place to start is a Northern lights strain ... easy to grow, quick to flower and a nice solid mostly-indica high like most good dealer dank. Read around the Seeds&Strains section ... you'll get a feel for who's who among seed sellers, and if their money is where their webpage is. cn

I'm a newbie here, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I plan on growing a strain called LSD. It's a cross of Skunk 1 and Mazar. I searched through out the seed bank and compiled a list of 12 strains that they rated at 5 stars out of 5 stars (the actual symbol is a leaf.)

They are not in any particular order, but these are the 12 strains I found that were rated 5 stars.

LSD (85% Indica/15% Sativa) 24% THC
White Widow 20-25% THC
Canalope Haze
G13 X NYC Diesel (60% Indica/40% Sativa)
LA Confidential
Chocolope (Chocolate Thai X Canalope Haze; Sativa)
Super Lemon Haze (Lemon Skunk X Super Silver Haze; not Barney's Farm LSD) Sativa
OG Kush
Utopia Haze (Mostly Sativa; 22% THC)

I hope that helps, and if anyone has any experience with any of these strains, please fill us in. I am planning on growing LSD.

i dont no about growing lsd but if that stuff is grown right, its a true beatuy to smoke!!!! its from barneys farm i smoked it in amsterdam in amnesia coffeshop (barneys farms sister coffeshop) and boy does it pack a punch!!! :P
yea i have heard that from alot of people about nothern lights and it is quality weed...... i also heard abit about big bud, relativly easy to grow and big yields :D

any more tips folks???

white widow is ment to be abit tempermental and i was also warned to stay away from the hazes for my 1st few grows :( until i get a feel for growing and understand what the plant is trying to tell me in different situations!!!

i've never heard of ww being finicky, but it is a good idea to stay away from haze's and mostly sativa strains for a few grows as sativa's and hazes can be finicky eaters, not to mention that some sativas can take upwards or 16 weeks to flower, and for a newb, 16 weeks can be forever and a day to keep a plant alive

i give another vote against growing anything from greenhouse seed company as they're like the walmart of the cannabis world imo.. lots of strains to choose from, but not always of the best quality..

to the op, do you like sativa strains, like an up, soaring, motivational high, or do you prefer more of a couchlock, heavy stoned type of weed?? if you like sativa's, c99 is a great place to start as even though it's sativa dom, it finishes very quickly in under 8 weeks or so..
if you like indica's, there's tons of great ones out there..
sannies seed shop has some great prices and awesome genetics whether you like indi's or sativas..

I'll second the Sannies love. I've had decent success with Greenhouse genetics, especially their Super lemon Haze, but haven't tried any of their "newer" stuff (excluding slh).

im ordering northern lights and bubba kush............ im getin the kush from greenhouse seeds... but i wana no where to get a good strain of northern lights! what seed bank do a good breed of it???

just grab a good kush like pre 98 bubba, all the kushes i've came in contact with are easy to grow, and bomb to smoke, just prepare for powdery mildew if your in a mid-high humidity climate.

yea i think im gona grab bubba kush herd lots of great things bout this strain!!! strong plants aswel!!!! so greenhouse seeds bubba kush and nirvana northern lights.
i live in ireland man so humidity is low ... cold country with lots of rain :(

So is Texas right now.My room is @ 37% humidity though even with my reservoirs.Good luck and keep us up to date.105F Summer and it will be in the 40's today.Low in the 20's tomorrow.

sorry man got it mixed up.... its winter now so temps outside bout 6-10 degrees celceus and humidity is 87% . dont no what the humidty is inside though .


@xxsmokekushxx ..... is there anyway to stop the powerdery mildew and is this a big problem that would effect the plant??

yea, agree with heads on here, a good kush is the way to go. also if you can come up on an LaConfidential seed, that strain is super potent and a really good yeilder
