Seeds vs Clones

Ok, so this is my main question before i start my first grow...i see all the seeds available online to buy, but I had a buddy tell me to not waste my time and try to find clones...
anyone else on here have any advice?

personally i would like to buy some bomb ass seeds to grow and not have to look around for local clones...

thanks for the input!!

There are advantages to both. Seeds give way more variety, look at all the different strains/hybrids/crosses out there. Unless you know a ton of people growing different kinds of pot that have mother plants or plants in veg that you can get clones from and then keep a zillion mothers your variety is limited. But some people will find one or two or maybe three strains they love and keep mothers and clone from them for years and be as happy as a duck on orange sauce.

No way is best or more correct. It is what you like and what works best for you and your system/setup.

theres a seceret local club in every city but unless your a well trusted person and know some of these people its very hard to get clones ***AND BEWARE OF DUMB ASSES THAT JUST GROW BAGSEED AND DONT KNOW IF THERE PLANTS ARE MALE FEMALE OR EVEN A GOOD PHENO YOU SHOULD REALLY KNOW AND TRUST THE PERSON YOU GET CLONES FROM*** if you live in a MJ friendly state then you can get clones if not order seeds. theres lots of good seed banks if you wanna know who i use personaly pm me. good luck and good growing

What’s it called, fight club? Down here in the small rural southern town I live in the only secret club to be found is called the KKK.

I’m sure in larger towns/cities there are places/clubs/groups like that but like was said you don’t really know what you are getting. In my opinion if you want to grow from clones buy some high quality genetics/beans and grow them until you can pick the best of the best females and keep a mother of each type and grow from them. if you get tired of the strain or strains start again or if you have room get more high quality beans and add to your mothers room and take more clones from them.

well i think i made up my mind...gonna get seeds...haha
a lot more variety that way...
also...me being *noob*...
when you are talking the "mother" plant, that can be any female plant that you just keep alive to keep cutting down...right...?

I'm going to be doing a small amount...6ish plants...anyone have some recommended seeds/suppliers please PM me!
I need ones that will do in smaller growing areas...my first ones will be in the PC Cases setup hydroponic...so let me know what you guys recommend
