Hi everyone I'm germinating seeds for the second time ever and I'm having some trouble. I put 12 seeds in a paper towel that is damp with distilled water. Its been three days now and I only have one seed that germinated. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but last time I germinated seeds I did the same thing and almost all of the seeds germinated. I heard someone say once that you might have to score them with sandpaper if the don't germinate after a few days but I'm mot sure how to do that. Any help is appreciated.

watch out they might turn black and rot mine did that so i just decided to stick them in the soil it takes longer but wat can you 
do make sure the paper towel aint over moist, scratch the seed along the sand paper to ware sum of it down so its just a thin layer but be carefull not to crack it
