So I have had a great success rate growing from seeds. However the last three seeds I have let sit in water never dropped to the bottom of the glass. Should I still put them in the paper towel? Or ?????

Thank u so muchYes.
Sow directly in the dirt and cease that other stupidity. So I have had a great success rate growing from seeds. However the last three seeds I have let sit in water never dropped to the bottom of the glass. Should I still put them in the paper towel? Or ?????
When I did the water method I would add a little hydrogen peroxide which would surround the seeds with oxygen so seeds would sink and float, never had problems that way,but I prefer the coco starter pellets.
Thank u so much !Just put it in a shot-glass of clean water for 24 hours and then sow whether it sinks or not. I add a squirt of peroxide to the water, softens the shell quicker. 99.9% success rate for me using this method...in fact, I cannot remember the last time a seed didn't pop for me.
Seeds only sink when they crack so don't worry about that. Just drop them in that moist paper towel. The soaking did it's job. I still use this method myself but many as you see just throw them into soil/coco right away. Just preference. Sometimes seeds take some time to pop so I like the paper towel method and that way I am not left wondering if I should just keep waiting. So I have had a great success rate growing from seeds. Don't think he meant it that wayAs I appreciate your advice I don’t consider myself stupid.
It's weird how mother nature made this method work for billions of years....Sow directly in the dirt and cease that other stupidity.
