seeds

Cowell, I went through a BC bank, waited 4 week and e-mailed them. They said they were sent, but were nice enough to resend. The second got the green tape. The first, obviously, went missing along the way. Resently, when through the UK and they arrived in less than two weeks. UK goes through the more picky Chicago customs? Hmmmm?
What's the options? Order from everywhere? Flood the borders from every direction with the hope that some will get through? That should cost a bit.
Me and my Homeland Security? Don't blame me for my countries silly ass, miss directed policies. If it were my choice, I'd get rid of the whole lot. I try when I vote, but it ends up being the lesser of two evils.
I currently reside in one of the most backward thinking states in the union, Georgia. Maybe I should move back to my grandparents birthplace, St. John, NB. It seems Canada is far more forward thinking and liberal when it comes to MJ.
Again, different countries.. going from Canada to the US goes through US customs and apparently gets green tape put on it.
When items come into Canada they are inspected by Canadian Customs.. if they open it, they close it with Yellow tape that has negitively written "inspected by Canadian Customs and Revenue agency". If it's an illegal item, coming into Canada, you get it seized with a letter, on yellow paper that tells you your items were seized and where to go to pick it up if you think they have been taken in error.
NOT US customs proceedures.. I have no idea what they do, which is why I said thanks to you for pointing out that story with the doctor, as I have never actually read or seen evidence that it had happened to anyone... I conceed, it has happened... just figured what I have had taken and nothing ever came of it, it wouldn't be an issue.
I also have no idea about Chicago customs or what that means.. and again, it's US, never had to deal with it.
I ordered from Attitude and had it take 5 days to get here from the day I ordered. I have ordered stuff off ebay that took 20 days to get here from the states because it was held up at the bo:peace:rder... I also can't speak to whether the BC company were out of stock and held your order till they could fill it.
Options? I never said anything about flooding the border with anything.. I just said if your order gets seized (from my experience) you get a letter.. and not to have anyone worry about it.. it is seeds for crying out loud, and I had way more serious stuff taken at the border and nothing but having my address flagged and every package gets opened for inspection, till you go get a new po box.

The homeland security crack, wasn't really directed at you, more at the whole thing...I looked at how it read, and that's not how I meant it.. I was almost joking, "oh you! you boys and your games!" kinda tone... hard to explain, I type like I talk.

I don't know about Canada being more lax about it.. they seem to be cracking down pretty hard on grows out here right now. I'm just off BC border, so I mean, they are cracking down on cottage grows, and houses pretty good.. so I don't know.. and I haven't read much on Bill 13 yet, but it's getting looked at to pass into law, which would impose manditory sentence of 6 months per plant!! and in a sog.... that adds up pretty quick if you get snapped right before you harvest and set your new clones in to flower!

Anyway, been nice debating it with you, added you a rep+ and again, thanks for the new info too.

I've been shopping for seeds the last 4-5 hours, I will be spending about 220 - 260.00 . Just curious how most of you guys paid for your order. Should I be nervous about using my CC (website says it will show up as Attitude Gifts on my bank statement)
Also would it be a good idea to order a t-shirt or something to "help" the order go through Costoms

i did cash myself(to different banks)
the stealth probably won't hurt, may help, though from my reading of seed experiences it's mostly luck
i'd say well over 90% of shipments get through, but if they decide to search they will probably get it
one exception to the 'if it's searched, it's seized' rule, saw it here on RIU, order had the green tape, guy is sure it's toast, open it up and the seeds are there! small order - these guys are civil service - not all are balls of seed searching energy
