Shit that makes me feel better!!!

SO if you have that many how are you storing them?? Fridge or freezer? I need a better system now that I seem to be starting a collection.

Excellent, glad it makes someone feel better lol.
I keep them in the fridge. I have them in seed envelopes in a container with uncooked rice. Im running out of room though as the more strains i get the more envelopes i use and they take up room haha. Ive still got some of the original beans i got from holland in 1997 and have popped some only recently and they all germed!!

That is fantastic to hear.
I have read about others having the same success. It's always hard to believe that they can survive that long and germ.

Yeah man too right, I was stoked that they all popped. I thought they would've been dead a long time ago but i have had them in the same environment since i got them :)

They are in their way!
Got notice the that they are shipped.

Now I just need to figure out how to work them into my grow plans...

I'm really not sure. Maybe a slow 12/12FS. Or they will be my greenhouse grow. That might work the best.

Too many possibilities.

Seeds have arrived!!
Very nice service. Easy to order and quick to arrive. Traveled a long way with no problems and in good shape.

A couple of the free seeds look at little immature (green) and one is too pale. I don't care about them though so whatever. I just care about the Sugar Haze, Mexican Sativa, Golden Tiger, and the Malawi Fem. All of the important ones look good.

Now I just need to be patient and wait for the next grow.

Ps. I have started a couple of Lemon Kush fem in a 12/12FS grow, so I may add something from this order to the next round of growing once my current White WIdows are done flowering.

Unreal dude, you're on your way now :D wont be long before you can pop them!!

A word of warning for the sugar haze, they take a while to show sex and they stretch like crazy so flower when they're fairly short if you are pushed for height room :)

Thanks!
If I'm doing these inside I will be flowering very early. Space is a total issue so an early flower and lots of training will be in the works for sure. Even outdoors I will be controlling the height. That is mainly because of the winds that we get around here. They can be very strong and would damage a single tall plant. I would likely keep things at 5-6'.

Hey man, no probs with the info :)

All up it took 7 months and it didnt really start to bud until the last 2 months! I thought it was going to go a lot longer but it finished real quick once the temps started to drop. Just watch the temps, if you get a cold snap of 20-25 degrees during summer it may hermy as it is a semi tropical strain im told. Well worth growing though mate.
Yeah i just grew the one too :)
I reckon if you put it in the ground early (if you dont get frosts in late spring) it will give you over 11oz ;) i started mine in october here and picked at the end of april and was lucky no early frosts!!
Hey @eastcoastmo, Thanks for the info on this one. Been looking at this strain for a while, and think I will giver her a go in my stealth under natural light. I plan on pruning (node-pinching) all the ladies 3-4 times before onset of flowering. They will be short-seasoned, and only get a month of veg before daylight change triggers flowering. That is perfect for me, as I have height-restrictions, and given the sugar Haze is mostly Sativa, I don't wanna be wrestling with giant lanky plants. I just topped my Blue Thai (Dinafem) and Orient Express (Ace) at 3-4 node in order to start controlling the height right away before shit gets out of hand . Also gonna start a few Satori (Mandala) and keep a good stud male for breeding all my sativas. Sugar Haze will provide the other male selection. Should result in some interesting hybrids for us sativa-connoisseurs :hump:

No worries at all. Like I said, just keep a close eye on her, mine threw nanners and I'd say it was because of the temps. Keep the environment perfect and she'll reward you with some beautiful potent buds! Good luck with the sativas mate and let me know how they go :)

I just came across this on Herbies. Looks interesting.
Has anyone heard anything about it or even better grown it???

Here is some of what they say about it:

[h=2]Seedsman Sugar Haze Seeds Specs
[/h]
Genetics:
Santa Marta x Haze
Variety: Mostly Sativa
Type: f1 Hybrid
Harvest Date: October
Flowering Period: 9 weeks
THC Content: 23%
Characteristics: Sweet tasting cerebral haze

In our Sugar Haze we have crossed a Santa Marta with Original Haze, one of the Skunkman’s most famous creations. The result is a fast flowering sativa dominant haze strain with a THC potential of around 23%. This strain has a sweet taste but is a heavy hitter and not recommended for the occasional user.

Through our selective crossbreeding techniques we have managed to reduce the flowering time on this strain to below almost all other haze strains, so much so that it can be grown outdoors in places, and should finish by the end of October.

I am looking for a nice Sativa that I could try out. I really would like some more Sativa highs versus the couchlock of so many Indicas. Something not too big and that doesn't have a 12+ week flowering. I'm a newbie so I don't want to go too difficult either.

If anyone has any thoughts about strains to try I would love to hear your ideas.
Well I'm not being funny right but I got 2 mazers from dp and 2 sugerhaze from seedsman and I kid you not the sugerhaze got fatter darker leaves than the suger and the suger is quicker flowering than mazar don't make sense the mazers are pure indica and the sugerhaze is pure sativa according to the sellers it's not true though and the mazer stretched more don't make no sense

I see all of these comments in the threads where people talk about "good sativas" and "bad sativas" but they never explain what they are talking about!!

What is a good sativas?!?!?!?

Once I have finished a couple grows to build up a bit of a stash I would like to try out a pure sativa or high % sativa. It would be trained a lot and have its growth controlled, but I could take the time to let it grow and slowly flower. But need help to figure out what strains to try. The seed banks and breeders are not really all that helpful seeing as they are trying to sell all of the seeds they have.

How do you pick a Sativa strain???
It's all bollocks mate I got 2 mazars pure indica ?and 2 sugerhaze pure sativa ? The sugerhaze at far more indica in my mind fatter leaves squater bushyer darker coupler and bigger harder buds .the mazars are nice but there taller whisper and thinner its all bullshit put out by big company's the seeds I'm talking about is mazars from dutch passion and the suger from seedsman.
