Seeing someone with the lifeforce gone is rather unique, it is like the first time you see person.
I thought I'd now when I have to deal with it, but I saw my dad a few minutes after he passed away in hospital.
It was like a total stranger... what or who ever was there was just sooooooo diffirent. It was like looking at a good animatronic robot, he looked realistic but not lifelike...
Note to self, try to get eaten by a lion or shark.

Well I am very very sorry to hear that ANC. My condolences....truly.
I had to ID a couple of co workers once who both drowned. They were in the water about 24 hours or so. It's not like TV. In just 24 hours I had great difficulty telling who was who. My partner couldn't even look at them, I had to do it. Death is always on your shoulder, waiting.

i almost got hit by a car on the way to work and time slowed down and i had time to say goodbye to everyone then it turned at the last second, it made me appriciate things more because were all worm food.

And yea FUCK taking cough syrup to trip. That shit is really really bad for your body(though i once had an argument with the smelly hippie Shepj where he was advocating the damn stuff and saying left and right that its ok to ABUSE cough syrup). That shit put sent my brother to the emergency room because it ate his stomach lining and he was puking up blood.
