Seeking advice

Noticed a spot on one of the plants. They’ve been growing nicely, and fast, up until this morning. Using all the nutrients that came with the tent set up (advance nutrients grow bloom micro) and they’ve been working. pH has been stable, water was just changed yesterday. Plants are in week 4 of veg. Noticed some discoloration on the roots as well. Did some research and ordered some a Hydroguard for the water because it’s starting to look like root rot. My guess is, that it’s from light leak. The clay doesn’t do a perfect job at darkening up the place (lids are now over them) and the tubing is clear. Black tubing is on the way. Any other advice is greatly appreciated. First grow, but I’d like to make it perfect.

check water temps,and light leaks usualy turn roots green in colour,i had more luck with h2o2 than hydroguard in the same circumstances as you,tried HG first but after a week still the same then went to H2o2 and roots came back to brilliant white after a day or 2.

cover the pails lids to reflect light/heat.
