seeking guidance

hey this is sort of an update, got some new questions

my biggest one would be about topping, should i even consider topping these plants at any point with the size of their pots in mind? what kind of yield can i even expect? would topping help?

also, one of the plants is very stocky, the leaves have yellow discolouration down their centers and are gnarled - i could potentially replant it with a seed from a less reputable source (straight outta compton black guy friend i made) which is my third question

my girl with the broadest biggest leaves (just recently showed signs of femininity) has really yellow/pale-ing/burning of leaves, why is she showing more extreme signs of deficiency when its on the same nute/water schedule
also, should i be yanking any pale burnt yellow leaves off? they are big and give resistance

thanks for any contributions, ill update this thread again

Your flowering so your plant is producing smaller leaves at a very fast pace, you should add some veg food to your feeding schedule. They are gobbling up nitrogen at this stage like there is no tomorrow

He's definitely lacking nitrogen, but there's a couple of something elses going on I can't quite place. Did you prune any of the side growth? How long since they popped from seed? They look like they're a bit over watered too.

You have some serious element deficiency going on there, get some Cal-mag and give them some you will see the colour return. You could also buy a bag of cow compost from any big box store and put about an 1 1/2 inches on top than water. It won't smell and will give your plants a shot of grow juice.

I wasn't gonna go there, but you're dead on with the cow compost. Since they're outdoor, fish emulsion or blood meal would work as well.

You should let the leaves fall off on their own IMO. No chance in potentially stressing your plants by taking things off that they may still be using. The plant will get rid of them when she's done with them.

@jack, hey dude what strains you growing?
Dude, not a thing right now, I'm still awaiting trial. But when I was in full swing, I was growing JH (obviously) and a hybrid of JH and a nice indica I got from a guy across the pond. Those two did me for a good whole. Before that I had a real nice Afghan Indica landrace and a Guatemalan Sativa landrace I was playing with.

Looks like I'm gonna have to move to an MJ friendly state after all is said and done. I sure as hell can't quit for good.

I read the whole trend and no one answered your question bout topping! I'm thinking cause it's kind of late to top and you have bigger issues than topping! You should of topped that at about 5th set of branches when they were bout 3 weeks old! You can do it any time but you should do it when their young and dumb! Cause it can stress'em out a little for a few day.

i luved that film

jack herer: how did they catch you?
Still not entirely sure, and won't be until we get the discovery. I am quite certain that in the end when all is said and done, I'll have to lay it at the feet of my own lapse of common sense security. I BELIEVE that my daughter had her boyfriend break into my shop looking for my stash, and they discovered the grow. The neighbor who discovered my shop had been broken into called the cops that morning instead of calling me. My daughter didn't know I was growing, but she did know I kept a decent amount of weed around 'cuz I grow our personal stash 6 months supply at a time. My daughter was told I bought 6 months at a time.
