I put them straight under the light when i've put the germinated seeds into the medium

the plant has a lot of stored energy in the cotyledon.. the first leaves to appear, the round ones, after the first set of true leaves appear i use 1/4 nutes with water every 3 days and water with reg water if need be in between... as light goes as soon as the seed breaks the surface i put it under lights

be careful of nutes in relation to ur soil, many potting soils and a lot of growing soils have nutes in them already. i use miracle gro ,lotta people dont like it though, and it has slow release nute, i was almost 4weeks into vegging before i fed them. any earlier and i wouldve nute burnt them. like the guys above do i put light on them as soon as i put them in to a pot, but only 2 x 55 watt cfls. couple of weeks of that b4 i put them under my 600hps.
