When you test In jars what are you looking for . That humidity doesn't raise above around 62% or so ? And then if it does you open and burp them or ?

Exactly. And once they’re stable at 62% I put them in Grove Bags and that’s it.

That’s an old one. But if memory serves me right it was (quirkle x black cherry soda) x long valley royal kush. Royal dahlia I think was the name. Now i had to go back and check.. don’t want to hijack. But it’s easy to grow killer homegrown. Big containers. Short veg, and quality soil!

Yes, feeling brittle and slightly dry at 16-17% moisture reading is normal during drying.
The buds will regain some softness and improve in texture after curing. However, avoid over-drying (below 10% moisture) as it can lead to harsh smoke and reduced potency.
Continue monitoring the moisture level and stop drying when it reaches around 12-14%.
Curing for several weeks will further improve the flavor, aroma, and smoothness of the buds.

That's what I'll do . Throw them in grove bags around 12-14% moisture and cure 1 month

Yeah, I agree. I really like them though there are plenty out there who like to bad mouth them as 'just bags'...though they seem to do exactly what they say...and they really do keep things in good shape for a long time. I find them easier to store and much less hassle than jars anyway.

Yep. I've had probs with bud in jars. Never in grove bags. Made the switch a while.back and I won't go back to jars. I'll save those for sauce and jam

I still have a box of filled jars but don't even access them anymore. Also I hated the burping part of the dry/cure process.

Yes super annoying who's got time to burp 20jars everyday. Certainly not me. Just loaded up a Grove bag last night with an alien vs triangle (I think that's what it's called) auto. From mephisto.
I bought a crap load of grove bags on sale and have a nice little stock pile of all diff sizes. Plus at the expo the guys gave me a pile of freebies. Little expo hint : wait till guys are questioning the product then speak highly of it like a good review... The salesmen will give you whatever you want. Works everytime

I go through a ton, but I have bees and a couple hundred pounds of honey a year to jar up...I also pickle & make jam, etc.
