lots of people using SIPs (sub-irrigated planters) and the people at build-a-soil seem pretty crazy about em i have seen enough impressive grows in them that i have been getting the itch to try them aswell BAS has em for a lil over 30 and home depot/lowes has em a couple dollars cheaper

Autopots in coco/perlite best system I've ever used hands down
Float valve in saucer of pot, gravity fed, no pumps/timers/air stone/Sprayer nozzle bullshit with regular hydro. Not to mention, no run off, no wasted nutrients, just keep topping up the res
There is a circulating pump and air stone in the reservoir however to keep the nutrient solution mixed, you could probably get away without it but I only top up my res once a week. So very low maintenance.
