Self watering system?

hey im going to put 2 of my plants outside just to see what type of yeild i get compaired to indoors.. but i have a small problem id only be able to check on them every other day or so.
anyone know a good self watering system i could make for cheap? i could refill every 2 or 3 days and i dont want to make somthing that would over water and kill my plants..

this has been done many times with success--- depending on how large your plants are, get a jug and poke small holes in it. if you have your own spot camo the jug and try to conceal it. a friend of mine uses rubber tubing as hose, and hides the jug in a nearby bush. this is a very ghetto, very cheap drip system..but it works. you will probably need to screw with it for a little to get it right

why would you water every 2-3 days?

you growing in pots?

i have 1 plant in a 5 gallon bucket and 1 in a medium pot.. i thought every 2 days would be good, would a drip system over water my plants? they are 2 weeks old and i need to get them into a perm. spot

look at my grow.

i started them off in party cups and now thier in ground.

water about once a week if it dont rain. if it dont rain thiers no reason for me to check on the plants.
