no idea, you'd probably do better asking the local dispensaries who they're allowed to buy from. not only does every legal state have different rules, a lot of the cities and towns pass their own ordinances and make it even harder to keep up with stuff.
this is one case where federal intervention could possibly be helpful, at least then everyone would have the same set of stupid rules to deal with, instead of 25 sets of stupid rules that are similar but totally different....

Honestly, this has been a topic when I smoke with cerrtain friends lol.

I always say its wayyyy more convineint to sell to the shops, than to be a shop selling to consumers.

You don't have the overhead of a location.
cameras + security
marketing / spreead the word/ advertise
etc etc

if you supply shops, you have the option to go all around selling to different shops.

with a shop you'll have to sell it from 1 gram to 1 ounce. (recriational)

but id you sell to shops and you have 30 pounds, you can literally knock off the 30 pounds off your hands in a day.

hope that helps :blsmoke:

Depends if you’re going medical or recreational.

Recreational has to be provided by a licensed recreational grower. You probably will not be able to take this route in LA, but can find jurisdictions in So Cal that do allow it. You can find most of the info on the CA Dept. of Food and Ag. You will need a place to grow that meets the requirements set forth by the state, and you will need to find a jurisdiction that grants permits in the classification you are looking for. Then you need a site layout, business plan, etc., etc...

It is no easy feat. I have a buddy going through the wringer to become a processor. He has spent almost $18k between consultations, realtors, lease applications, permit applications, and all that jazz. Still a long way to go, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, and shows that it can be done by your average Joe, so long as Joe has the pockets to keep up with California legislators. You need deep pockets and patience.

Medical can be provided by just about anyone with a license. This is the easier route, but there are fewer dollar signs involved.
