hi everyone, havent been on riu in a while, but ive gotten going on adventure number three, 2 ak47 and 2 nl, in a small closet, under 10x23w cfls of mixed spectrum. i also have a 70w hps and basically unlimited amounts of more cfls(as many as space and heat allow..). im hesitant to fire up the 70w because of all the heat it produces, im not sure if these little ones really need that extra light yet. they are currently 18 days from the first seed crack, and doing fairly well i believe. they are in hyponex soil and havent recieved anything but tap water to date. heat is a definite issue in this little grow, and while i have a circulating fan and a small intake coming in i dont believe its enough. i need to find cheappp sources of ventilation, not to mention im gonna have to put up for a new carbon filter pretty soon, once they start stinkinnnnn.
anyhow, people all want to just see pics in topics of course, so here we go.
AK number one:
i know the twisting and curling of the leaves is a problem, i cant figure out what it is. maybe a heat stress thing? its been happining since it sprouted, its not anything new. also the yellowing on veins and tips, maybe my water is too alkaline or something?
heres a closeup:
NL number two:
the early starter, its been my healthiest plant, although not the biggest. also has that same yellowing on the leaves, although no twisting..
AK number two:
smaller, perky little thing huh?
theres a fourth, another NL, but its really small, and theres something about it..im getting this gut feeling its gonna turn out male. so no picture.
Also, a really bad shot of the digs, its old and the lights are completely different now, you cant even see all of them anyway:
and finally, for shits and giggles, a few of my last crop, pulled from the same setup(plus a 200w envirolite, which i will hopefully account for this time with something similar)
