Repeal of all laws outlawing interracial marriages

Next question
Uh, you just gave examples of Gov undoing racist laws, not implementing them.

Our military was integrated, then it was not, thank the government. Our military is a government institution, not a private business. Public schools are not the same as private schools.

Marriage is something the government is still getting wrong. If they were never involved with marriage then gays and polygamists would have no fight. 600,000 polygamists in the US and nobody is fighting for their rights, why is that?

wasn't on purpose, promise. I'd much rather you addressed the point that somehow racially driven laws help curtail racism.

*If they were never involved with marriage...
if my cat starred in cat food commercials then i wouldn't have to take clones today.

it's called reality. accept it.

i know that's a hard thing for you reaganites to do. some of his dementia and alzheimer's seems to have permanently rubbed off on you guys.

Great Scott ... where do you take clones from a cat? I tried the humane way and got a bunch of ... cn

i once had a dream where i drank water from what i thought was my watering jug, but it turned out to be full of cat spit. when i spat it out onto the floor, a cat emerged from it. so i cloned mroe cats this way. but they were unstable hybrids and legs and eyes melted away before they eventually dissolved.

and that's why i no longer eat fish stick sandwiches before bed.

cn beat me to it.

I understand that gov is entrenched in marriage. It's one of those mistakes they have a tendency to make and have to fix later, like now. It began as social engineering. Incentivize the worker bees to procreate and maintain with special governmental gifts. People at that time didn't see the unintended consequences. Our founders did, that's why there was nothing in our framework aluding to marriage.

My prediction in the SCOTUS rules it's a state issue.

No no, I'm saying they WERE racially driven laws. And they were bad.
so you're for a ban on miscegeny now? putting blacks on the front lines in their own segregated divisions? "separate but equal" schools?

man, you're a fucking piece of work there if you think outlawing the ban on interracial marriage was a bad law.

ok, now I think you are just messing with me.

A ban on interracial marriage is bad. Should never have happened, but did, by government. It was a bad racially motivated law. You think there are good racially motivated laws and I disagree. I like to think the color of your skin does not determine your worth.

Blacks and whites fought side by side in the revolutionary war. Somewhere along the line, the government decided arming darkie might not be a good idea. Again, government made segregation not only accepted, but encouraged.

Look now how you worship Obama and whatever he says or does is correct. There have been people like you throughout history who need to be told what to think by government. Those people believed (back then) that blacks were not a whole man because by God our laws tell us so. Those govangelicals today feel that while blacks are a whole man, they are still at a disadvantage because of their skin color.

The part of the government that makes racially motivated laws represents you, not me. The part of the government that stands for liberty and individual rights represents me, not you. That's why there is gridlock in DC. My side has a full time job keeping your side from ruining the country. Between your side and the moral majority from the right doing the same thing, it's more than full time.

It's a perception thing Buck. You choose to praise the government for banning the bans. I choose to blame them for the ban in the first place. I do give them credit for finally getting it right, after getting it wrong for so long, because of societal shifts they either had to get it right or get a different yob. The best solution would have been for our government to have stayed out of it, but since people like you won't allow it, we started out the way we started and had to "fix" it. I would like to curb these mistakes from happening in the future, but again, people like you won't allow it. We will continue with our get it wrong for decades and fix it later approach.

Not one Chinese food joint in my area has any whites working for them and they don't hire them.

So what makes them special?

1.) theres are TONS of chinese joints that have whites working in them.

2.) the ones that don't know that if they hired whites, they would in turn, tell other whites what goes on in the kitchen and they would have no business.

No no, if I did that I would be on YOUR side. I'm for the individual, I don't give a damn what color he is.
you're too much of a pussy to just admit that you oppose title II, which puts you right on the side of the bigots and racists.
