EVERYONE has the right to grow under legalization. They would not have included it if they were just going to take it away. That would make no political sense. As for medical, they decided to keep it separate from rec, at least for now. We had access through the LP's with the mmpr and we went to court and won the right to grow. Nothing will change.
 
We also have proof we were poisoned by the supply making it no longer reasonable or accessible, and that is an additional reason we require the right to grow our own medicine free from poisons, if it came down to that I guess. I know that's my reason for growing my own. They poisoned me. Never again.

Well if they plan on removing grow rights later it was a mistake to announce to Canadians they will be able to grow. Folks heard that part. And they won't find it funny if it was a lie. I predict that after 5 years they will be sorry they ever allowed it if it sticks and folks can grow. They will find all kinds of issues they can't control with folks growing. They'll hate ever suggesting it imo.
Try putting that cat back in the bag....can you say no more votes for you. I almost feel like they blurted it out without much thinking. And it's a supreme ass grinder to those who hate us and our evil weedful ways. .....lol......

No you didn’t win the right to grow. That’s just how it was remedied. You won access. When you can order by phone, internet and walk into a store that’s access. HC and judge agreed doesn’t need to be affordable. I’m only telling you what the lawyer who got out gardens is saying. Take the ups with the downs.

Wont be that simple or easy. You forget they offer over diluted oils and low THC strains. In fact, they'll want to limit THC percentage if anything which they've been discussing for quite some time now. They may be able to justify that for rec, good luck with medical

No, we HAD access with the mmpr. We could order by phone or internet, just no (legal) walk in stores. What was the point of the Allard trial then? It was about access, but that access included specific strains, cultivation methods etc. They may have worded it 'access', but that access includes the right to grow your own.

"The government of Canada has decided on the matter of Allard vs. Canada we will not be appealing the court's decision. We will respect the decision of the Federal Court," Philpott told reporters after question period.
In February, a Federal Court judge struck down regulations restricting the rights of medical marijuana patients to grow their own cannabis, and gave the Liberal government six months to come up with new rules.

I won the right to grow..weather it was for access. Poison..trust...funds for people who do not work but rather fight their illness to stay alive. This has been proven in court NOT to affect anyone that is near a well put together grow op.
Not a rec person grow!!????(what is that anyway) who grows to sell their shit.

Ill go back to court and do it all over again. Just be easier this time with MORE EVIDENCE!8-)

That’s the thing, HC can make changes over night and we have to fight for 3+ years for changes. I like all the hoorah around the topic but it isn’t realistic. They shut our grows down before, senators are amending bill c45 to eliminate home grow. HC eliminated growing before they will do it again. OUR OWN LAWYERS HAVE SAID 4 YEARS UNTIL PROGRAM AND GROWING GOES BUST. It’s almost like saying cops won’t bust anymore dispensaries. Il be over here playing the same old “they did it before” tune yall don’t like to hear.

The time to cancel the medical program, if that is what they were after, was during the planning stages of legalization. Instead they decided to leave the amcpr in place. They have no new evidence to support their opposition to home grows since we won the last battle. I think you're over-reacting to something a bunch of useless senators said to make themselves feel important. We will never lose our grow rights again - that era is behind us.

Of course they can. They repealed MMAR over a hells angels key chain. Just listen to your representatives in regards to Allard, this is the only educational proof we need.

Actually they didn't. They presented it as evidence during the Allard trial when they brought on their superstar witnesses. The evidence provided was not relevant enough, hence we won Allard due to them not being able to prove home grows were unsafe due to fire, mold, and organized crime. To say the MMAR was repealed due to a keychain is patently false.

That was there only physical evidence in shutting down MMAR, that’s right. Listen to your lawyer or don’t not my problem.
