Sending out random genetics...

Hey guys, as I was sitting here reading the forums while smoking a blunt I got to thinking.....Do you think any seed banks send out random genetics? Not just random but say, shittier strains or same strains from shittier breeders?

I have an order on its way from Herbies and although I am not questioning Herbies legitimacy 'AT ALL', I am just curious if some of the lesser known, shadier seed banks would do this kind of thing to make a few extra bucks! I know each plant of a certain genetic can look very different from the next but has anyone grew anything out and been like "what the fuck? This cannot be 'xxxxxxxx' strain"

Do you think they do this kind of thing? Think about it....

I am sure it happens, as long as you stick with the reputable banks, you have nothing to fear. These ceed banks have nothing BUT their reps keeping them in business. As soon as a bank were to pull this shit, they would be out of business quickly.

As for Herbies: i have ordered 3x from Herbies, and Have ALWAYS gotten what I have ordered with 100% germination.

How do I know? Well, a few strains I have ordered are strains I have worked with for years. (Just wanted to "refresh" my genetics). I have also ordered strains that you would know immediately if it wasnt what you order (pheno variations and all).

So dont go ordering from an obsecure site cause of a great deal or flashing web graphics! Stick with the knowns!

I can personally vouch for:

Breeders Boutique
Herbies
Attitude
Seaofseeds
Kindseed
And i am waiting for delivery for my first order from Provision. (I will write up a review shortly there after)

i think about this every time i order lol and i think its total BS that seedbanks wouldnt do this because of the competition.

What if the Breeders were doing it before it even got to the online distributors? Could happpen.!? hmmmm?

Did you actually read my fuckin post mate?? Obviously not as I clearly stated(in capitals especially for people like you) that I was not questioning Herbies 'AT ALL' as I am a repeat customer of theirs!

Was just thinking out loud, not worrying or accusing. I personally thought my post made that point fairly clearly...obviously not clearly enough for some people.

Got my order off them a couple weeks back, looks alright but I haven't popped em yet, gonna wait until I've got my little hoop house set up. What strains did ya get?

From Provision? I ordered Purple Bubba Kush.... What did u get?

Ah yeah, was gonna get some of that. I got a few different ones. Deep Purple Kush, Blue King, Afghani, Love Potion, Rockstar Kush and some TGA freebies that are either Agent Orange, Querkle or Plushberry. Hoping for one of the first two, but not fussed at all haha. And the reason I don't know which of the 3 those TGA ones are is because they mixed those 3 beans up so they're going out as freebies.

I intially wanted deep purple kush. Basically the same genetics as RP's Purple OG 18, but after researching and lookin through the pics, I felt the Purple Bubba definately displays the OG 18 genetics more prominately. The Purple Bubba was a cross of the Deep Purple and Bubba.

shitting has happened before for sure. there's tons of over the top stuff to work with now, so shit breeding is being bred out. can it happen again? absolutely. will it? probably. will we hear about it and bitch and raise hell for months and put people out of business when it does? fuckin eh.
