Sensi doesnt advertise their NL as NL5 anymore, and also say their NL is a NL1 x NL2 x NL5 Hybrid.

Flowering Time45-50 days
Seed BankSensi Seeds
YieldHeavy
TypeIndica Dominant
Northern Lights is one of three fundamental breeding strains that have changed the face of global cannabis culture over the last three decades. Apart from Skunk #1 and Haze, no variety comes close to matching Northern Lights influence on the world of weed. Whether you are a smoker, a grower or a breeder, it's more than likely this strain has had a direct effect on your understanding of ganja. Virtually every cannabis enthusiast has, at the very least, had their day brightened by a fat bud of Northern Lights or one of her hybrid descendants. As far back as the Eighties, Northern Lights was setting the standard by which other Indicas are still judged and she remains one of the most trusted names and sought-after varieties in modern cannabis culture. For many years, Northern Lights dominated the various harvest festivals, winning cup after cup, leading to a more than one request that she be retired from competition in order to allow other strains a shot at the title. Through years of selection and back-breeding between stellar examples of the three original Northern Lights variants, Sensi Seeds has adapted this picture-perfect Afghanica genotype for optimum indoor performance, making the worlds most powerful pure Indica accessible to every grower. Northern Lights is compact, fast and very dense, capable of producing several generous, trouble-free crops per year from seed or clone. Her frosted buds possess a honey-musk aroma blended with an earthy Afghani undertone and a hint of juniper highly enticing when dried and smoked, yet remarkably understated when growing and flowering. Low odour and easy cultivation combined with big yields and exceptional resin production make Northern Lights the first choice in Indica - for both connoisseur quality and commercial quantity.

AKBeanBrains has the real deal stuff from the late 80s, early 90s. [email protected] for NL5. Ask Dave for a seed list.

The Green Stash also has original NL5, and have the best prices.

Id forget all the others if I was looking for the old Sensi genetics NL5.
The Green Stash can be found on Strainly.

Sensi lost all kinds of their original genetics years ago.
As did Serious Seeds. Their AK47 is nothing like it used to be. They lost their original genetics in the 80s, and then rebred, and ghad a good AK47 up until 2007, whn they lost it again, and had to regroup again. The pre 2007 AK47 was very potent, but was not as potent as the original 90s genetics.

Sensi also lost the genetics to Mr Nice, 4 way, Hashplant, and others. Sensi used to be great, but Id not buy from them now.
Relic Seeds is a good European Breeder. Has alot of Haze hybrids, and Nevil genetics. Woodhorse Seeds is also a good Euro Breeder. But most all the stuff I want is available in USA, and I donthave to deal with customs,.
If I wanted Sk1, Id get it from Authentic Genetics. He got original Sk1 straight from Mel Frank who got it from Skunkman in the 80s, and has only ben bred 2x. Most everyone else has bred it to death, and were not very selective.

Authentic Genetics also had the Original NL5 before it was taken to Holland, and is not to be confused with Sensi NL5. He will have it back in stock sometime. These genetics came from Seattle Greg, who supplied some of the genetics for the original Pre European NL5.

Ace Seeds, are probably best for pure landrace gnetics. As is the Real Seed company

So whenever there is mention of Blueberry or NL, someone is gonna mention Peak. I guess I’m that guy lately. Anyway, Mike at Peak Seeds BC has an awesome NL #5, very old school imho. Check that one out too before you decide.

If youre in Europe, go to Sannies Seeds, and for a pure Indica get the Herijuana. Its super potent and gives a good yield for a pure Indica. Is super potent, and not for lightweights. Lung Buster.

Also look into the Sannies Killing Fields F6. Is also super potent, and is Sativa dominant. Huge yield, and big plants that stretch like crazy in flowering.
