The neem oil has definitely slowed down the bugs. couldnt see any today, but I wasnt looking too hard. I still havent found any lady bugs local..fml. Buttt shits lookin real good. NL is really showing her signs of flowering. check it outttt
Well today i helped chop and trim Northern Lights, the parents on my NL clones. they became root bound a little more than half-way thru flower but they ended up dank still. I wish I had pics but not right now. Im sure I'll snap a couple of the cured nugs. But today we've just been working on directing our cool air (ducted from from A/C) down to the bottom of the tent. temps have come down a couple degrees since...
just some pictures. I took a couple of the recent cooling upgrades. we're getting the temps to stay lower than 82 with the lights on which has been a problem since we've been running 9 bulbs in the tent.
Also, the mite problem has gone down a lot. Neem hasnt been sprayed in days... i was wondering if this little guy is helping?? or is he just a bigger version of my problem??
I keep trying new things with the camera. This is what I have for you. Northern Lights is gonna be some dankkk. I can already tell
I also scrubbed down the tent with boiling hot water with a few drops of dawn in it... hope the girls appreciate it
Stuffs looking bomb 400aZ...are you using straight neem oil for the mites or are you using azetrol, which has neem oil in it?...i've used azetrol and the mites never come back after one spray...if you're using just neem oil and there coming back, try azetrol, you can get it on amazon...where'd you get you northern lights?...i wanna get NL#5 x Haze, but a pack of 10 seeds on attitude is almost $300...deservedly so, a buddy of mine grew some back in 94' and it was bomb, big big long colas the size of my forearm.
Nah it was a neem/water mix. How far into flower did you use azetrol? It sounds legit...but you cant find too much info on it on the interwebz. Lately, tinyyy little mites are the only ones we find, and they are few and far between. I got the northern lights as a clone from my buddy and its Nirvana's breed. his first round of harvest was chopped last week. He used HPS and general hydo nutes. It will be interesting to see the differences in the grows for sure. I cant wait. Started flushing Sensi today
I got mights 3 weeks before harvest and used azetrol, the buds were fine...just make sure you ph the azetrol and cover your soil before you spray...I've seen the difference between cfl and hps...i just got my hps bulb today actually and my friend is kicking me down a hood and balast...if you can afford it or come up on one, switch...a 600w hps will double to triple the yield and the nugs end up way more dense...it's all about light intensity...i have 616watts of flourescents producing 37200 lumens...the 600w hps i'm putting in produces 95000 lumens, more than double the intensity of my flourescents.
I knowww high intensity is whats up. Logically, we went with the CFLs for the price as we didn't want to spend too much on the first grow. However, with the success so far, I think its safe to invest in a better light. Once the NL harvests, we'll be done until the Fall. A lot will change then, I'm sure. Thanks for the info man
sorry for the lack of update guys. I have been out of town for 2 weeks and Im usually the one to spend hours taking pictures just to throw 5 or 6 up lol. Rest assured that the girls are getting the same love as always, and your jaws will drop once you see the update. that is all. back to some diesel
here it is fellas. finally and update, and Sensi is coming down this weekend DDDDDDDD The sample nugs have been awesome and I really cant wait! Not too much amber right now, and Id like to wait until I see alottttt of amber.
how does she look?
now, to blow your mind. Northern Lights. WOW. wasn't expecting this....they smell SOOOOO FRUITY!!
