Serious Problems with small Worms in mature flowers

Now I am all worried about worms... how do I know if I have them?

Don;t know if its because the strian or because I'm bringing in to garage at disk but so far so good on Grandaddy Purple and Bubba Kush. I yield totally to he expertise of fdd but I sprayed my other two girls (one heavily in to flowers) and the pistils all turned brown and shrivelled over night. Final product doesn;t look so good at all. Mix was as recommended. I sprayed these girls once with BT. Had some pistils have tips go brown. So haven;t done it again. Just nervous. But maybe that did the trick. Flushing now and vigilantly looking. Had some ladybugs show up which I'm happy about but they aren;t praying mantis. Don't think I'm going to spray again. Just inspect deeply daily. Good lucl

Next year I will spray whole pant with BT regularly until mid flower I think. And still bring in if possible in the evening. The first two girls that were really attacked did have some large reg. size moths int he evening on here. So maybe they were really the problem instead of these white moth/butterfly like things I see during the day. Not sure. Had some weird small white fast moving/jumping things early on which I think I was thrown by. Not sure what they were but then I had cacooning large green caterpillar underneath a leaf which is when I realized I had a problem on my forst two infested ones. Once that happens you have a problem for sure. Best thing is to visually inspect deep every day I think for the little eggs, brown turds and little brown and white, eventually turning green worms/caterpillars. Best advice I have but I'm a new outside grower. Yield to Fdd's advice for sure. I thank him for the site and advice!

Curious about that white critter. Kinda looked like a little airplane. Really fast jumper. What was that. I was thorn by it being the culprit at first but not now. Safer soap seemed to take of it. Don't think related to caterpilars now at all. Check the underside of leaves for sure. Any leaves starting to curl down in to cacoon may mean total infestation because that's an older caterpillar.

Also, I have a table grow surrounded by herbs (basil, mint, etc.) to make grow a little less noticeable even though no my MJ is way bigger and pretty much in your face. Bigger bug problems with those herbs so may have added to my problem but kinda need to have other plants around for visitors not to notice for a while at least even though Med patient. You understand. Anyone have advice for plants to avoid near grow? Thanks

I read that Rosemary and other herbs are a natural repellent of some moths, I took some branches and stuck them on my plant and it kinda seems to work. Does nothing fo the caterpillars and the eggs though

I bought the safe caterpillar killer but havn't used it yet so I can't comment

so-cal grower here, just woke up to find 2 fan leaves effected by the tiny lil worms w/ trails of shit. I have been growing for 5 years and never had this problem. the plant i found them on only goes outside for 6 hours a day in the sun then back in the gro room with the others. i think im going to quarintine it and watch it carefully. anyone else w/ this issue i would like to hear from and i will be checking this thread as well. please comment me if you have a good solution for this problem. other than that i hope everyone is off to a good start this lovley season. its been beautifull so far outside here in VTA, CA!
