hey whats goin on guys, new here, doing my first "big" grow, up to this point its just been my closet with a 400w and a fan.... have a couple questions and so far heres what i have. 1.) ordered my seeds, waiting on them from marijuana-seeds.nl (any experiences, positive negative) ordered their Blue Mystic, BubbleGum, Northern Lights (a classic) and Super Silver Haze (really excited about this one.)...anyways as for the room, currently its under-construction, it is a 10x10 room and i am going to section off a 4x5 section of it for vegging my mothers and clones. in this room i am using 4 4ft flourescents with warm and cool white bulbs. now for the flower room, eventually i want to run 2 1000w lights, as for now i have a 400w ive been using and i just bought a 1000w i havent even hooked up yet. so the room will be putting out 1400w..i have plenty of ventilation also... planning on doing between 40-50 clones if i have enough light...Walls are covered in mylar, i have the co2 tank but still need a pressure thing that releases it...also im doing soil, not brave enough for a big hydro system yet...kind of intimidated by it...any thoughts on strains, ideas, essential things i may be missing...thanks guys looking forward to strating a grow journal and stuff...hey quick question, can the govt here in the states track this stuff to my house through the computer and ip address, kind of nervous bout posting??? dont want em knockin on my door ya know...

that looks like a good start you have there. What nutrients will you be using on this grow? You are going to need lots of water to keep up with 40 girls. From what I read here on RIU it is very possible to get tracked down....I have a very small grow and a card so I dont worry to much about all of that.....
Good luck on the grow interested in seeing where this goes. I hope you have pH testers for soil and water. Oh and some ph up and down that is always key to a healthy grow. Also a TDS meter that also measures ppms (very helpful in knowing about of nutes that are going in....)

Happy Growings.....

actually, i allready use the ph up and down, works very well...ive never really got much into nutrients before..however i am thinking of going wirh the foxfarm big bloom and tiger bloom..i have seen firsthand results and they were impressive...i dont know what a tds meter is though...right now immy pla on a budget, but n is to continually improve my room once i get it up and running until i am satisfied..ex: a future dehumidfyer, carbon filter, more lights... right now im just going pretty basic with the essentials...however because ive never really used nutes much before im kinda "blind" as to what i need..so any input is appreciated....also how much water weekly do you forsee me using??? and the million dollar question...i am hoping to beable to harvest 2-3 lbs per cycle in this room is this feasable with 40-50 ladies??

I just heard great things about big bloom and also a veteran grower that is going to change from tiger bloom to Flower Power by Blue Mountain Organics----> http://cgi.ebay.com/Super-Plant-Tonic-Organic-Fertilizer-Enhancer-by-BMO_W0QQitemZ260487395895QQcategoryZ20540QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m263QQ_trkparmsZalgo=SIC&its=I%2BC&itu=UCI%2BIA%2BUA%2BFICS%2BUFI&otn=10&ps=63

I will be picking up some BB very soon here myself...you say the essentials and with the introduction of nutes you should know how many parts per million there are in each feeding so you can properly manage how much to feed. A TDS meter is an essential my guy.
