Setups for maximizing Nevada's Seven (7) Plant limits?

Hello Rollitup NV!
First time poster, lifetime smoker here, reporting for duty from The Dirty R... hey, it's pretty at night:-P.

I've been researching Nevada's medical marijuana:leaf: limits on cultivation for medicinal purposes, and will soon have my own medical marijuana card in NV:clap:. I understand there can be great risks for going over the seven plant limit; therefore, I thought that before I start my setup, I'd ask other Nevadans these questions.

What have you found works most consistently for your NV Medicinal :leaf: setup limited to 7 plants? Personally, I've estimated 1 Mother, 3 Clone/Veg, 3 Flowering on a rotation depending on the Mother's strain...It sounds practical. I have an enormous amount of space, so I could grow them large, but I'd prefer to harvest more often than once every 2-3 months if possible.

And lastly, do you think they made it 7 because of Nevada's history of gambling, Lucky number 7?

Thank you all in advance for your time, and I look forward to a lifetime of shared experience here on Rollitup!

Man loop i'm jelious I dnt have much room so I can't grow my girls tht big, but the setup your planning sounds good but you could also do a scrog, fim or the or lst techniques any and all work well to get bigger and better yields. You just have to do the research and figure out wich one works best for you.

Thanks yo~ I've been studying steadily and am patiently awaiting my card before I get started.

So many ways....so much haze....how many more days? Dang!

Hey Loop. What you mentioned sounds great for a 7 plant limit. However, I think the Nevada limit is either 3 mature plants OR 4 not-mature plants. I don't think you get both.

you can get a waiver from dr. reefer, and have up to 99 plants.
Are there doctors your aware of that will provide a waiver for medical necessity in Vegas at this time? Unfortunately, Dr. Reefer lost their business license on 11/18/2010 and it would seem they're unable to help at this time :(

From the sound of these posts - I wouldn't count on it. It doesn't seem like Mr. Werner is interested in Nevada patients.

DrReefer in Arizona | Investors and Partners wanted for Arizona dispensaries

I have to admit I'm a bit dismayed by all of this. Good thing I don't have to renew my card right away otherwise I would be SOL. At least I have a little bit of time to find someone else who will help me - it must suck for anyone who needs to renew right now.

There is a doctor on Twain and Durango that does 99 waivers. But keep in mind before spending all the money it does not save you from arrest or losing your meds. It only works as a defense.

Also keep in mind. Within the 7 plant regulation, size is not mentioned. ;)

Only flowering and not flowering. (mature/immature)

Thought this article might be of interest. :-)

Wow, Northern and Southern Nevada are very different when it comes to medical marijuana! No one up here has dared do anything for medical marijuana...no referral doctors, no dispensaries, no ads....nothing.

What about co-ops? It seems there could be ways to accomplish this through holes in the NRS Statutes. Although, I guess if the feds will just swoop in anytime, that it's a moot point.

Northern Nevada is no man's land for medical marijuana patients. If some smart soul would set up a consultation service that patients could have access to once they are legal I think it would be of great benefit to the medical marijuana community way out here in the boonies. To be able to network with other patients would be awesome. There is nowhere to do that now. I also think this smart soul could avoid a lot of the hassle if they adhered more closely to the guidelines. That way if the feds did swoop in they would come up empty and have no case. Renaming "consideration" does not change the law. A donation for cannabis is monetary and therefore illegal in Nevada at this time. I'm all for safe access and believe me you won't find anyone more supportive of dispensaries for those who can't grow for whatever reason but it must be done right. Just my

Not sure about that article. I talked to the Dr. Reefer office today and it seems they are open for business. The license suspense may have been temporary or they opened under a new name on the license. They told me they just moved so I dunno.

So here's a question. How am I supposed to go about getting clones in this state to start my grow for my wife once she gets her card? Sounds like I need someone to "Give" them to me.

I think gifting between cardholders may still be illegal. Perhaps ordering seeds?

I just wanted to say whats up to my fellow Nevada people.

I am not very clear on exactly how the mmj laws work out here as they won't let me get a card, but in vegas it seems that there are quite a few "dispensary" or co-op looking businesses. I have 2 within walking distance of my house. these guys might get busted next week, but for now it seems like there are places to buy your medicine.

Loop, As far as how to maximize our state's 7 plant limit, with 3 flowering and 4 vegging plants, I think the best way to go would be to go on a 3 week cycle. I wouldn't keep a mother plant, that would be a waste of one of your plants, just take a bottom branch as a clone every time you put a plant into flower. from the time you took the clone to putting the plant into flower would be 12 weeks,a very long vegg time. By then the plants would be huge. You would need two rooms and some way to manage a giant outdoor size plant, maybe a portable scrog screen or a lot of ties for an lst system. You would flower for 9 weeks, which would be long enough for all the indica strains and most hybrids. you would cut down one plant every 3 weeks. Depending on the strain, that one plant could be a pound. it would definetly be enough to supply your needs. But then you would be holding more than the one ounce you are supposed to have. I don't know what to do about that. Hide it? thats what I do with my outlaw grow.

Good to see a good number of Nevadans on this site.

just order seeds, the all the places that advertise on here are legit, and if you have a card you have nothing to worry about.
