Severe Transplant Shock

Hello Guys,

I transplanted my durban poison 3 days ago, but while doing so I damaged the main long root that plunged deep with considerable length and some curls. The root ball (the big lump of root directly below the stem) is mostly intact.

I guess it's cannibalizing itself to survive, check the below pics.

Last night I gave it 3% peroxide (1.5 teaspoons per liter) AND 1/4 teaspoon (in 1 liter of water) of 15-30-15 water soluble nutes to promote root growth. (yes i know i should have used lower NPKs, but these are the only ones available where i live).

The below picture was taken few days before transplanting, it was so beautiful back then :(

Naa don't cut nuffin. Just let her go. To give you some peace of mind, let me tell you about a little friend of mine.

I sprouted a Speedy Gonzales, after a few days the other 4 seeds I germinated from different strains sprouted. I didn't think Speedy was going to sprout. Transferred the 1st seed from the original pot to a smaller pot, cause I don't like to give up on a seed, and germinated another Speedy seed.

Sure enough Speedy 1 sprouted. Just for fun and experimental purposes, I transplanted her back to a larger pot, when doing so I removed about 60% to 75% of the root structure. Gave her a root stimulation solution watering after, she's doing fine all though a little lanky and short. But she lives!

Compared to her sister, seed #2, of the same strain, which sprouted about a week after s you can see the difference in height, growth has been stunted but she's still alive.

Oh and yesterday morning I found fuzzy white mold covering the top of her soil. Removed the first 1/4 inch of soil. So far she's taken some lickings but she keeps on ticking.

She's one tough chick!

Actually I have it under time lapse :bigjoint:, I use it to evaluate if the plant is improving or not. Sadly it's not, I can see it wilting even more :cry:

I figured that much but I don't understand what he means, all I'm asking is if it looks worse now (in terms of the necrosis, not just wilting) than it did when he took the photo in the first post.

It's pretty hard to tell, took the picture like 8 hours ago.
