Depends on how stable the genetics are. If they werent intentionally making seed and said seeds were the result of a plant herming there is probably a greater chance that the progeny could herm.
They did not intend to grow or breed seed. They grow for personal/rec meaning the seed was a result of accidental pollination or plant stress. I'm already going to be on high alert for males with the Apricot Kush reg seed, so watching like a hawk

More so the intent of the ask was, based on experience, how closely the progeny (if successful) would resemble the source bud.

About 5 weeks ago I found, growing in an outdoor planter of old soil, two seedlings. They were from last year, when I had an auto Northern lights that "nannered". Not wanting to seed the whole tent, I removed the plant and left it in my garden, and let it grow. I produced seeds, but I didn't bother to keep them. Apparently some fell into the potting soil, and in March I found the two seedlings growing in an empty pot outdoors. I rescued them and put them into my tent with my photo grow. They got about 4 weeks of 19/5 light, then I flipped the tent. The autos are now 5 weeks old and flowering, they're both female, as one would expect from a nanner plant. I will keep a close eye on them, but I'm retty sure the original plant nannered because of stress.

As said, there is more than one way that plants get seeded, one is from a true male, another is a true hermie (balls not nanners), you don't want seeds from hermies, as the chances of the progeny being hermie is high, there is also stray pollen from someone elses nearby grow, and you never know what you'll get from that. Then there's nanners, those seeds should be female.

It really depends on what pollinated what, and how the seeds came to be. Was it from a hermie, or from nanners? If from a hermie chance are high for more hermies, and the genetics could be a cross between herrer and mango. if from nanners, that's a different story, the seeds should have most of the characterists of the parent, providing each plant self pollinated and did not cross pollinate.

Bam, "Strain hunters was cool af " is a twisted way of looking at things. If you only want to buy feminized seeds and don't mind that all landraces will be gone as Arjan likes to trade feminized seed for as much landrace seed as he can then you are in luck. He will destroy as much as he can for his own personal greed. Farmers will grow hybrid crap because Arjan told them it is quick. There won't be any landrace available only his colored feminized seed which you have to buy from him forever. Isn't that great?
