As a first time grower, I haven't seen it all yet.....I was thinking this plant was male at first???? I saw to tiny little balls growing right around the node areas... I said to myself!!!! Lets wait a little while and make sure its nuts hanging..... My patiene has taught me something that I have never seen... Instead of being nuts, its more veg... I've never seen this... It confused the hell out of me.. I am so glad I didn't react with to quick of judgement and toss this plant before its sex has showed it self....So tell me !!!! Has this ever happened to any of you??????

this is interesting, i haven't grown that much but haven't seen it ever mentioned
i suspect the balls were some mutant leaf/branch stuff

Freaking weird!!! From all of my studies into this field.. I have never read a report of it or seen a pic of it happening......I have some other plants that I think are doing the exact same thing.....I find it remarkabale...

Are you referring to the new vegetation growing in the nodes? I don't see what you're talking about in the pics, just new vegetative growth in the nodes, which is completely normal.

The vegetation between the nodes is completely normal. It's called secondary growth. If you look at the lower branches you'll notice it's a bit taller. Here's a pic of what a female looks like. The pistils are circled. You can also see some secondary growth as what you're seeing on yours. Have you switched to 12/12 yet? It usually take 5-10 days for sex to show after you switch. If you're still in veg it can take months to show.

I don't see anything strang. You topped the plant that's what they do. You stoped the upward growth and it's sending out new shoots. Definition of topping.

from the pic, it looks like there is sub branching off the main branch, which could be desirable if that's what it is, but pictures can be deceptive

Nevermind!!! Forget about it.... I think some people actually smoke themselves stoopid.... If you actually look at the new Veg.... It is not inside the node like some of you are claiming......It is on the side of the node on the bubble part... And like the second commenter commented.... It could very well be some mutant offspring.....

Do you think??? Its kind of strange... I topped them 2 weeks ago and you can tell....That veg has already grown up.....They have been on 12/12 for 3 days now.... This is when the sex starts to show itself right??? I thought the were balls but it looks to be like what you said... They are branching off.... I have never seen it branch off from a cut top like this before though....

Fine take the word of the first person that said they haven't grown that much. And disregard the rest that have. Gonna hate to see what you do when they start to flower and the singal seed looking sack shows up. Just to put it out there. It's normal.

just to keep things clear, you topped, then normal side branches, presumably 2 popped out
then another possible branch sprouted at the junction? let the riu jury decide how normal it is

??? No idea what that ment. Your pic showed nothing strange. If you think you have a different angal post it. From what I can see you fine and sex isn't fully shown yet. Just becouse you went to 12/12 dosnt make them do anything. Some are stubborn just like a real woman. Lights out dosnt mean your getting any.

The mutant branching looks like Trilateral branching in the late term , either way you have a freak there and I would watch it close and even more so when in bloom .....Freaks make great buds most times not but they should not ever be breed with .. Novelty plants they are !

I've read about that!!! Tonight will make night 4 in 12/12...I have read that it could take a while for the sex to show.... Typically males come first , then females.......I think I do have a mutant though.....
