your plants can show sex as soon as they are mature. i actually have 6 plant still in veg and one is a male. the other 5 have not sexed at all yet. the male is only about 4 inches tall with about 5 or 6 nodes. sexed really early. im not sure y.

its force flowering. a few of mine did that, although it is not good for the plant to stay in 24 especially after the force flower. mine had trouble with the transition from 24 to 12/12 and i think that leaving them in veg to long was why

yea normally you have to start the 12/12 to show sex.. unless there autos

This is the truth.....
Once your plant matures usually between 1-2 months your plant will naturally begin to show preflowers, but this does not mean you need to switch the lights to 12/12 just to determine sex. You can tell sex within 1-2 months while still in veg.
Most people switch to 12/12 at 4 weeks and sex shoes up within 1-2 weeks of being introduced to 12/12. You can veg as long as you like, but pruning will need to be done daily to your specific needs.

damn cuz i wanted to make sure they were females if i was gunna put the time in.
i wanna have them veg inside and then put them out for a lil bit of vegging and for flowering
and because my grow space is a lil small but pretty good 55in. height, by 28in. wide, by 14in. deep

yeah pennywise got it right. They begin to show preflowers around 1 to 1 1/2 months but this can vary depending on if you have the lights on 24/0 or 18/6. If you have the plants in 18/6 the preflowers should show up earlier and more prominantly than on 24/0.
You do not need to switch to 12/12 to sex plants though. It can be tough to tell early on whether the plant is male or female before it really starts to flower, so be careful about removing what you think may be male to early.

If you want to determine the sex early and continue to veg for a longer amount of time you can take cuttings from the plants and expose them to 12 hours of light then 12 dark for a few days and this should show you the sex early. That way you don't risk stressing your plants by putting them in 12/12 too early, which can cause more males or hermies.

This is very true and is highly reccomended,so you do not waste time with males unless you plan of harvesting pollen to pollinate different strains.

Watch it so you don't ever bring in a plant that has been outside. Lot's of bugs and scary things end up in your grow room if you do. Once it's out, it's out.
I veg mine for about 9-10 weeks. I take some clones off the vegging plants and when one set goes from the veg room to the flower room my clones go to the veg room to grow up. That way I have harvest every 9-10 weeks. Sounds like your inside space may be good as a mother closet. Just a thought.

Very true, once you take a clipping from a plant the photoperiod need to be 18/6 for root development for at least a week then you can switch to 12/12 to determine sex.....

No doubt,,,,, i have 8 plants in a little T12 set up...one only has 6 nodes and has shown sex already....It's a gurl.... the lights been on 24/7 for 5 weeks in a DWC and this one is just a remarkable phenome of the ICE strain I got from NL seeds. She's already got 4 sites that are ready for cloning!!!! Still in Veg...on Veg nutes,.....!!! Wow...
You can go through all of the stress of cloning, or you can be a PATIENT PARENT and wait to clone... or the CLONINGSTRESS will harm your plants. Why try to harm your plants...would you do that to your child...(OK.....YOURE gonna BE a GURL CUZ I sed SO....."Chops off nuts..youll be a stratto..
.) I'ts exciting to grow, but it's a patient process....dont chop up your plants. WAIT....they will tell you when there ready to be "sexed"..... in the mean time, pay attention to WHAT is getting them to (or not to) prosper....When you see the "Tell tale Signs" (boys usually come first) do what YOUR garden requires....if you want seeds for a future crop cuz the price of hydro seeds are just too much................. well..........let them boys grow!!! Pollenate that crop and harvest seed......Just because you have seed, does not mean your crop is bad.... on the contrary...now you can replace your crop 10 times over.....
The seed banks want you to destroy males so that they can keep in buisness.....Think about it.....(they dont destroy males......males produce seed....Seed Banks Sell SEEDS.... "sensimilia" is a Target word. How better to sell pot than to offer "Quality Genetics" when the mainstream disposes of "genetics" on a regular basis? Save your plants....dont chop them up...let them be what they were "Geneticaly Disposed to BE" Fuck.........im stoned...I'll get off my soap box...sorry...dude...!!

(in his grampaw voice says") now , one time...I remember back in the '80's...ya see...I was a growin my furrrst plant in a closet....he hee... I had that plant in the closet behind my Drums...(I used to bang them skins 'ya know... Well any how...the timer went off and kinda whaky... cuz I had a party....sum whippersnapper kicked the timer plug outta the wall socket while we were bongin out....... I knever knew it had happend.... That little plant started growing hairs..I kinda thought it was a mold 'er sumthin....I opend up the closet a few days later...mind ya...the lights ha' been off 3 day...That ole plant turned red after another week 'O light. My 'Ole lady wouldnt let me keep her....'siad I had a new Gurlfriend....
Made me cut her off an throw her in the cieling lamp....to dry her out ya see....I think that was the beginning of the end of that old lady....(both of them).........
