What are the odds of having a male and female plant?.....I have a 25 day old auto that appears to have pollen sacks on the lower nodes but pistils on the top nodes...first time grow so not sure..

A picture would help. Does your plant have pollen sacs like those on this? From top to bottom, pistils, banana's, pollen sacs.

A badly stressed plant can do that, some easier then others. If that plant had a good life and wasn’t thrashed on its probably bad genetics. Sorry about your luck.

The jury is still out but in my experience anyway, fem seeds tend to have more herms. I stick to regular seeds now but it happens with them sometimes too.

Pluck all those ball sacks before they open and you can avoid getting seeds. Check under each bud site really well too. They tend to show up there.

If you have pistils on the top then it's not a flat out male but a herm. You need to post a picture of the whole plant.

Best my wife could get of it right now
So you're not at the plant right now? Those pics don't help. But don't say anything to your wife. Tell her the pics were great and exactly what you wanted. Then take a pic of the top yourself when you can and post it later.

It could be a male too. It’s hard to tell from those pics but I don’t see any pistils at the nodes or tops/crowns.
