I am havin a hard time understanding this.. plants can show sex before flowering cycle? But they can turn hermi anytime because of stress and other factors .. So to me, for my first grow with much stress induced i should just wait on buds to appear eh ? Or could i take some close-up pics of either some balls or vag hair, upload it and some of you pros can help me out??? BTW flipped to 12/12 august 1

The preflowers are what you see before flipping, they have a name which i can't remember and google apparently can't either haha. They are a sign the plant is nearing sexual maturity, other signs are the opposing nodes will turn to altering (one petiole per node). you don't need it to start flowering but if the plant isn't near sexual maturity yet when you switch to 12/12 you might find it takes a few weeks extra before harvest. The variety in time with which the plants take to become sexually mature is great, even within the same species or progeny.
