Defenently sucks though killed like 70 percent of my yield ! Ha hopefully this indoor can make up for it
No im still sourcing everythng i can get a few local from friends but not enough to fill up the space. probably going to take a little trip to get the rest not exactly sure where yet. i want to run blackberry OG, and Jack Flash for sure i think a trip to harborside or another bay area dispensary is in order.Hah hell yeah and it's going alright I almost got the first 26 or so trimmed but low results I'm thinking Mabey a pound of all those I'm going to be blasting most of it and all the frosty trim hopefully can get another p of the rest in a week or two when it gets a little more mature.
I can defently use the bud I'm running low since I'm setting up the indoor
That's a sick rig you had in the update
It looks like your getting pretty close do you have clones ready to go in?
Theres a formula to figure out Btu's in a given sq ft' space! if your space is 12x12x8 in height your ac needs to be this amount You will need 10560 BTU/hour or 3094 watt. This does not include the 1000 watt light which requires 4,000 btus per light! Portable ac are very inefficient split system or a 5 ton Ac unit is the best way to go.. sorry to be the burden of bad news! If you want to go the portable route you need at leaste 14,000 btu's for a 12x12x8 and one 1000 watt light! Hear is a link to a calculator! Your 9,000 btu ac will probably run 24-7 and never meet you desired ambient temp!Hey man another quick question does your portable ac cool down your room pretty quick iv had this used one on just in my bedroom for the past 30 minutes and it's struggling to hold 73 it's only like a 12 by 12 bedroom too
its 4,000 btu per 1000 watt light.Damn so it's like a extra 3000 watts just to cool the 4000 watt lights? Sf has a couple of portable ac and they work fine for him I was hoping I could get by
hear is the amount of btu's for a 4,000 watt's "this is only for the lights mind you". 13648.566532 you need extra head room for the total sq ft'. hear is a calculator for watts: http://www.rapidtables.com/convert/power/Watt_to_BTU.htmDamn so it's like a extra 3000 watts just to cool the 4000 watt lights? Sf has a couple of portable ac and they work fine for him I was hoping I could get by
How many BTU is it??? Mine is used as an aid. My temps are like 83-87 without ventilation right now..Hey man another quick question does your portable ac cool down your room pretty quick iv had this used one on just in my bedroom for the past 30 minutes and it's struggling to hold 73 it's only like a 12 by 12 bedroom too
NO I HAVE 1 PORTABLE AC AND 1 WINDOW UNITDamn so it's like a extra 3000 watts just to cool the 4000 watt lights? Sf has a couple of portable ac and they work fine for him I was hoping I could get by
I don't live in San Francisco brotha I live on the central coast but yes. I'll exaust all the heat through a carbon scrubber then my hoods via 2x6" vortexIn SF can't you just use the cool foggy air running through the lights to keep temps down? I can't remember a day in the bay where it was over 80 deg.. I live in about the same climate and only need ac to run CO2 burners. I use the hot air from the 1000's to warm my garage up to around 70 deg. I get a little smell around harvest but most of the time its odorless. Its like running a 4000 watt heater that the bills already paid!!
Thanks for stopping by brotha!!! I'll have a update here pretty quick either tonight or in the morningLooking great man! I wish I had the space to run a full room but then the startup cost would kill me!
