Looks like you said, ozone damage or something was sprayed on the leaves.
ionizer left on. Same thing happened to me ...My girl is clearing up...I spaced and left the ionizer on boost all night...symptoms are clearing and getting replaced with green...I'm so relieved:oops:

I think you may have found it yourself. If that purifier was making ozone that is probably the culprit. I would have said maybe just bit over nuted but the tips are not burnt and it kinda looks like a mag def but really not. The big white spot on the leaf was a nutrient droplect that helped burn the leaf under light. (magnifying glass). I think I would just watch them closely for a few days and see if the problem gets better before doing too much.
I agree with you...

And to alaskagrown88, there is not such thing as a plant being root bound
It just means that you have to water and feed the plant more often
Cool, thats exactly what i was thinking with my party cup grows, i keep them constantly watered and fed, +REP

I guess its possible that it could be from the ozone, especially since the leaves are only being affected on one plant right?
Is that the plant closer to the purifier?

That is just not true, all plants will eventually outgrow their pots not matter how much you feed them. Plants ALWAYS grow better when they have lots of root space.

I will let this picture by fdd2blk do the talking:

How will they outgrow their pots? Would you consider that pic a rootbound plant? What happens when a plant outgrows its pot?

Here is another pic, but this time by GypsyBush:

If there were any plants that would be rootbound those would be the plants and well.... they look healthy and I see no stunted growth. Please explain my friend.

yeah that grow of gypsy's was epic!

things are looking alright, dosed both of my girls with some CaMg+ from General Organics. Although i'm pretty sure the damage was from ozone, the leaves around her buds were turning. Also liza has looked "funny" for awhile, her leaves were all pointing up and tips were beginning to curl and die. Anyhow, everything is look alright! Liza is starting to bulk and is DONE stretching! :) nothing but good buds from here on out.

Oh and speaking of rootbound, I'm chopping up GWS for clones soon, and probably going to put the Lemon Skunk clone in the tent tomorrow, she'll have to compete for the light but oh well. Getting tired of the daily careful watering I have to do. sheesh!! just trying to grow some buds, not nurse a baby

True. The plant from fdd2blk is very admirable but there is a bit of leaf yellowing which a rootbound condition can induce, and, I'd like to see a shot of the plant just before harvest. That tells the tale. The real challenge or struggle to growing a healthy plant to harvest starts about 4 weeks after going 12/12.

If you want to use a small pot, fine, but use a design that will induce fibrous root output like copper hydroxide paints or air pruning pots. You'll get better plant health and production.

That usually does some harm. When you add too much of one, it tends to block (create an antagonistic affect) of another. Know what you've got before "fixing" anything, which brings me to a point. You're a fellow Texan, do yourself a favor and instead of wasting your money on some rocket fuel, get a soil analysis. I just received my soil analysis reports back and it was the best $15 I've spent. If indoor, I'd make up a 30 gallon batch of your favorite blend, send it off to College Station and get the macros and micros tested for $15. Most labs charge more than $60 for this comprehensive test. You'll get pH, conductivity, macros and micros along with a chart showing your CL, or "critical levels". I popped two samples into a box, sent it USPS for about $4.00. Forgot to mail the check, no problem, they invoiced me. Luv dem aggies. ;) Here's their phone number in case you want to talk directly to the lab - 979-845-4816

Good luck,

Like I said, beautiful job, but did you take a shot of the rootball after harvest?

yes i did and it still means NOTHING.

that plant produced over a pound and a half of top shelf bud. you can argue about it all day if you'd like. i gave it an A+ and i'm done. nothing will change what has already happened.

i have grown numerous plants like this. it's not hard. :weed:

"i see a couple yellow leaves..."

i'm still giggling. :-P

edit: i'm on a new comp, the screen on the one with all my pics is out or i would post my rootball pics. they are all here somewhere already though.
