Hi.. I am growing on soil mixture of: lightmix, batmix and bacterial additives.
2,5 weeks into vegging a Cheese Dawg scrog.

Suddenly all plants look extremely dark green (no burned tips tho) and growth is completely stunned!
Also the leaves have purple stems.. Temps ON 27 celsius/ OFF 19-20 celcius. humidity +-50%
I have litteraly given them ONLY tapwater since the beginning.

My tapwater is hard with PH 8.5

My gut is telling me this is a PH issue, too high even for organic..
Shall i start lowering the PH? Whats the best way to do that organically, vinegar? Wont that kill the beneficial bacteria and make the whole organic thing pointless?

Dark green = N toxicity. Not sure about the organic compound to lower ph. I would not use vinegar IMHO. Try using a more neutral water, distilled or mineral. Gl

how much lime did you put in the soil mix?

no man in soil base medium you need to be running about 6.3 to 7.0 on your ph, i run my ph at 6.5 ,i air bubble a 18 gallon tube for 2 days and that is what i use, coming out of my tap is 7.5 so i bubble ,when i feed i check what it is after nutrients are added and then ph accordinly ,for some reason when i used blue planet nutrients ph was always high ,with fox farm it is low, hope that helped a little

Actually the dark green will be due to a phosphate def, with a ph of 8.5 you end you with phosphate lockout. The purple stems on leaves are a dead give away, also you will notice
that the purple leaf stems will be green underneath were they are not exposed to light.

true they are!
So i was thinking...if i lower the PH with PhosphoricAcid to something like 7.5...will that still kill my soil bacteria?

I say it in every thread like this, but you don't need to pH anything when using full organics as long as you have any kind of compost in the mix..

Yes and i am having bat poop and this powedered thing called Bacto (from sannies) thats like a mixture of bacteria that evolves after coming in touch with moist.
However i am experiancing these problems i am telling about at the start of my topic here, and i cannot go on like this so i have to take some action.
