I broke a finger at church once, and i had to wait 4 hours to go to the hospital...that sucked.

On christmas eve about 4 years ago i got really sick, ended up going to the er. They thought it was my appendix( I was doubled-over in pain)...so they did cat scans and all that. I couldnt hold the chalky mix down, so they stuck a tube down my throat and pumped shit into my stomach(and IRONICALLY) that didnt stay down either.

LOL come to find out....I was severely constipated. So i got so milk of magnesia, and some pain meds. couldnt eat christmas dinner was probably the worst part of everything lol.

There was a dispute about the possession of my wallet and truck keys that led to me making the guy shoot me. when I say made him, I mean I was choking him after his strong arm attempt didn't go as he had planned. BTW I kept my wallet and keys, fuck em

I got shot in the shoulder with a large caliber revolver. If I hadn't jerked sideways at about the same time he pulled the trigger I'd have gotten it in the back of the head. Bled like hell for a while.

Yeah, A Symes amp is where they remove the foot and ankle.

The reason I use Lt. Dan as username............... After an MX crash, I spent the next 3 years full time in a wheelchair. After I had my left foot and ankle fused and the Symes amp of my right leg, I ran into a old friend........... The first thing he said was, "Look, Lt. Dan got new legs" LMAO

Well medical issues in a whole...

Brain Tumor
Dislocated Left shoulder, ripped the tendon almost all the way off. (bancart leason)
Broken my arm twice
Broken my neck twice

So do you walk with a prosthetic now or stick with the wheelchair? Do you ever get that phantom limb syndrome I've been hearing about? What's it feel like now?

Brain tumor is one of my worst fears man, that and getting some crazy disease, like cancer or HIV.

Broke ur neck twice? wtf?

the worst injury would be when my dad and i were building a waterfall in their pond and i got my finger crushed by a 200+ pound stone. it ripped the nail off, put a nice big gash in my nail bed and broke the tip off of the bone. 16 stitches later i was good to go. the tip is still floating around in there and i lost feeling from the last knuckle to the tip. pretty mild, but fuck did it hurt when they stitched that nail bed.

the worst pain ive felt though is when i had a bad reaction to my crohns meds, Pentasa. and then passing a kidney stone...that fucking sucked.

my dad has broken every bone in his body except for his legs, many many accidents. his worst was when he broke his neck, back, right arm, hand and all fingers and got all the skin ripped off his right arm and all the muscle in his forearm torn out and also his ears were ripped off in a farming accident, he was dead for almost 3 minutes. he pretty much made a full recovery, he just cant lift his arm over his head and he gets sore from time to time....gotta love U of M hospital.

If I'm going to be out and about for a long time (Gun Shows, Concerts, Races, Amusement parts, etc...) I take my chair. If I'm just going to the store or somewhere I don't have to be on feet (foot) for a long time, I walk.
I've got a shoe fitted to my fused foot and ankle, left knee brace, right prosthetic for a Symes amp............... But hey, I can walk to use bathroom, get something out of the top kitchen cabinets, stand up sex :), etc..

PS- Wheelchairs are kool for amusement parts.......You don't have to wait in line.... They stamp a book (they give you at the office) at the ride and est. the time I would have been in line, I wait that long messing around the park and come back at that time.... Go up the off ramp to the ride and ride twice :)
