I duno if thats strong enough or too strong cos I use HID's not LED's but heres a link to the LED noob buying thread that should answer that and your answer to if it would be running all day with the lights is no, just a couple times a day for however long is needed. you should really do some proper research on a lot of this stuff though theres a decent bit to learn otherwise youll have to make up for mistakes later and thats always a pain. Do you have any ideas on growing medium, ventilation, nutes and stuff? Also when you say 1.2m is that 1.2m high or? Anyway good luck with it and hope that you find what youre looking for in the LED thread

I wouldn't recommend those lights, and you should post this in the LED thread. When you say "costs" do you mean now or over the lifetime of your LED, or in some other sense over time, or perhaps just electricity cost for a fixed length of time? Details. You could get two 400W HID lights for $135 each that will crush those "600W LED" lights. I'm an LED fanguy, do not buy that light. Buy and build your own COB panel or get a HID setup. And lurk more.

Why do you "need to use LED"? please explain that for us.

LED's generally use less power (as in they have a lower watt usage than the average hps set up but your electiricity bill is calculated in kwh (kilowatt hours) so if youre running a 600W LED it is the exact same as running a 600W HPS, the difference would be when you have a 500W LED panel vs a 600W HPS then itll be cheaper to run the LED's.

Man you're paranoid...signals? How are you going to save money shelling out twice as much for a led. It would take you two years of constant use to "save money ". It's not adding up at all.

you can train your plants and generally control the size/shape of them to some extent so long as they are photoperiod plants so if the system fits in the tent you should be fine, its just a question of how big theyll be able to get and how comfortable itll be to maintain them. But yeah should have no issues with 3 plants in that tent and you'll be happy with the hps later so dont worry about it :bigjoint:. You might need to get a bigger fan later on when you begin flowering but youll know as soon as you run the system whether the fan is good enough or not.
