this is true but i have the patience to wait for a soil grow. Also i'm an outdoor grower. Can't do much with hydroponics outside.

once i germed 6 seeds. 5 cracked less than 24 hrs the other one was a white seed. i think it was a lil immature but it took 14 days to crack. i was amazed that it was still viable. i dont know what could have caused this? weird

wow if i had a seed that took that long to crack i may have given up on it after like a week. However if they don't crack i leave them where they are just in case.

i like the idea of the better quality of soil that everyone raves about. I also like the idea of the green side, and the living soil, and the ease and health of the plants is astounding. I am a far better soil grower. You gotta watch hydor more than I knew. After what I thought was a good hydro I tried organic soil and weeks in a still had healthy cotyledons. Organic just makes the most sense and the results so far have beat out my hydro in rockwool. Plus a 5 gallon buvlet of water seems like so much mess comared to a 7 gallon bag of soil. No res changes. No ph maintenace. I just add a good fert tea once a week. Focus on other aspects. Like lights and vents. Way less maintenace. Way less RO water to make. I had bad rsults wit the worst public water system in the US. rofl. Plus I have no liver pretty much so it just makes sense to get the best smoke. Also organic soil is so much cheaper when you get into it. Also I have actually learned the science thanls to reading the organic sections. In hydor I dod not know NPK just formuals. Now I do. Also the wyas and means of bacteria.

Right on. Have you ever tried a soil-less, non-hydro organic grow? i.e. Peat moss and perlite or something like that?

im with you dirt. "ORGANIC" all the way. My girls love to eat there nutes when there aerated for 2days+ with that ol' molasses. my girls do not mind the super duper mass crowds below. then the last 2 weeks i flush the shit out of the soil, then last with aerated molasses water. since i feed them so much the last 2 weeks they dont need anymore. the flush kicks the plants into using all the stored food so the end product is kind!

feeds the microorganisms which feed on the nutes then they shit it out ready for the plant to instantly take up. the soil is alive with millions and some advance growers try to have a googol amount breeding!
