I believe in everything you believe, i believe in everything anyone else believes, i believe in all the religions and everyone's theological claims in a sense. But all with the same understanding that all beliefs are thoughts and different ideas. An attempt to understand something without knowing weather or not if what we are trying understanding is true or false, is real or unreal. I don't really know whats going on in the universe, i don't really understand whats going on either... but i accept that, and i go on with life because i want to live, learn, love and share. I don't have to pretend i know or understand something that i really don't know or understand. i am not afraid of not knowing or not understanding anymore, i can still find meaning to life without the support of actually believing comforting fairy tales. But talking about them, and sharing the stories, ideas and thoughts people have and contemplating them all the while understanding that its just us... trying to cope with life, trying to share our fears, worries and doubts.

all the while with the understanding that we still don't know or even understand what, or why, or how.

maybe we'll never know or understand, but i don't think that's the point of life anyways.

Anways, i would have to agree with you, it is rather pathetic for a grown man like him to be acting like a child.

At least i can discuss things properly with people i respect on here and it is hard for me to respect someone.

Oly I'm guessing you have once again commented without reading the OP. The statement was nothing close to trolling. This is one of the reasons you run into such conflict with people. He is only saying that while he doesn't believe in any one theistic theory, he still finds value in their ideas.

I haven't seen oly change any beliefs. I've seen him stand up and defend them. I've seen him mature in his attitude and change his approach. I have not seen him renounce any of his beliefs. If you would quit sucking your own dick and pay attention you might see that being an ass trumps any opinions you might have.

  • I did read it and i would have not said anything if he was not so condescending about peoples form of beliefs. When you use phrases such as "fairy tales" for a belief that others find useful just cause they are different from his own, i will not hesitate to speak up. If something i have learned from you and mp, it is fair and equal treatment, yet some do not wish to give the "equal treatment" part and keep to their agenda driven diatribe.​
