i bought a pack of fem seeds. planted 3 of them. they all grew the same. i was unhappy. no smell, flavor, or resins. it grew along side a garden full of numerous other strains. i gave half of it to my buddy the other day. he said he'd smoke it.I gotta wonder if the couple people like FDD that didnt seem to like the strain were basing their impressions from a single plant/pheno?
My original plant stank, was frosty, tasted phenomenal and packed a great high. On the new batch Im running I have one thats at just under 4 weeks and is starting to frost up and have that similar smell from my first try. Keeping my fingers crossed this run is on par as my first grow w/ the strain.
there is no such thing has a jamaican landrace.... a landrace is a strain of cannabis in this situation that grows in a certain area naturally, w/o human help!!!! this doesnt not happen in jamaica, and cannabis sativa, or indica does not grow on the island naturally... all the old school jamaican strains were hybrids of south east and south west asian LANDRACES...land race sativa from jamaica-
i can dig the colors but the trichome coverage is nothing special.... ive grown bagseeds from good brick like 13 years ago and had them come out around the same level of frostyness... just keeping it real..... im a lil biased has well... im not fond of the "white" family...Here is one of my Sharksbreath from my last grow just before harvest at 9 weeks...64 grams dry...

Yeah Id be bummed if I had those results too.....I have noticed one thing in the batch I have flowering right now, the one pheno that is gonna be a very nice yielder has less of a smell than the other "sativa dominant" pheno, the sativa like pheno has a much more pungent smell and more resin at an earlier stage.i bought a pack of fem seeds. planted 3 of them. they all grew the same. i was unhappy. no smell, flavor, or resins. it grew along side a garden full of numerous other strains. i gave half of it to my buddy the other day. he said he'd smoke it.

the hash plant haze is a "keeper".Yeah Id be bummed if I had those results too.....I have noticed one thing in the batch I have flowering right now, the one pheno that is gonna be a very nice yielder has less of a smell than the other "sativa dominant" pheno, the sativa like pheno has a much more pungent smell and more resin at an earlier stage.
seems to be some mixed results, maybe the strain isnt very stable?
FDD is this the same grow you ran the Hashplant Haze, if so what was your impression of that?
Thanks for that info, I have a HPH bean and I was waiting on your word! lolthe hash plant haze is a "keeper".

Dood, you saying there are no cannabis growing in Ja or HI that ain't thriving on it's own without mans help. I suspose it'l need to be abundantly growing all over the countryside before they are willing to call it landrace.there is no such thing has a jamaican landrace.... a landrace is a strain of cannabis in this situation that grows in a certain area naturally, w/o human help!!!! this doesnt not happen in jamaica, and cannabis sativa, or indica does not grow on the island naturally... all the old school jamaican strains were hybrids of south east and south west asian LANDRACES...
imo it cannot be a landrace if it hasnt grown there for many many many generations w/o any help from man and still thrives....
examples of countries tha have true landrace cannabis of decent or high cannboid content are vietnam, cambodia, laos, thailand, india, pakistan, afghanistan, lebannon, turkey, the balkans in eastern europe, columbia, pannama, brazil, belize, mexico...... not jamiaca... not hawaii...
