She/He is a Hermie

Well if i had anything going on it looks like it is female and male. A couple of questions. If I remove all of the pollen sacs will it hurt the plant? Will it then become female and produce good buds? Everything else looks good, I know removing his/her balls will be tedious but I'm up for it. Thanks for the feed back.

Could you post pictures or at least confirm that you do know FOR A FACT that it is a hermie?

Removing the pollen sacks will be fine, and shouldn't hurt the plant too much.

if you can get every pollen sack out then yes you can still produce seedless buds but its almost impossible to fully unball a plant like that most likely your plant will end up pollinating itself and youll have some seedy buds, but buds none the less... and i heard that the seeds from a hermie are feminized? but they have a very hight rate of going hermy also? not sure but you can still get buds

I hear that fem seeds too have a high rate of becoming a hermie, but that would likely follow the typical rule of stressing the plant into it. If you care for a fem'd plant then it should be fine regardless.

That is some interesting stuff that the seeds could be feminized. Maybe I wont pick them all off then. I had actually figured that the seeds would be more prone to being hermies themselves.

I've had good bud before with just like 4 seeds per 1/8th. I always thought it was natures way of keeping the cycle going.

If u chop the pollen sacks off, they will grow back daily. U just gotta keep a constant eye on them. I've had a couple hermies before and they didnt seed things up too bad, only the plant that had the herm had a few seeds. I think i got lucky though. Cuz mine only had one spot where the herm condition actually affected it. I would say that if u do chose to leave it in the op, then definitely take great care around it. meaning do not bump it, do not have fans hitting it, or anything like that. Just consider if the little extra bud that plant will produce is worth possibly having seeds in the rest of the plants.

And yes u are correct in that most of the seeds produced will be fem seeds. But whatever caused the original plant to herm in the first place will likely cause the plants from the new seeds to do the same thing.

I really think I'm going to be able to remove the sacs before they mature enough to let go of the pollen but this is my first time trying this so I may have know idea what i'm in for.
