Ok so i Found it...There is a hole in the wall but i dont think it will help with any ventalation or any thing...could i put a fan right on it? Dont really know what to do..lol

here are pic updates..:( not lookin to good but i have more seeds that are about to go into soil.

hey man, I don't see any of the pics you say that you're posting. Pics would help. I can't imagine it being possible to put a 400 watt HPS in that little grow space considering you need atleast 18 inches to start between the light and the canopy. Let us know how it's going.

I got a 400w in a 36 by 18 cabinet with 30" vertical grow space.
My temps are about 90 degrees without a fan on the plants.

I did it by air-cooling the light. DIY cooltube.

She is doing ok now after being fcked up by the 400w light i put in the box..
That was a dumb idea seeing as i do not have any vents what so ever I was just
not using my head at all. She is doing good tho got her color back and has new growth almost every
day.

Think i am having some mold problems..dont really know what to do to solv this
i have looked around on here and no solid answer so still searchin for that one.

hey whats up man! just read threw this journal and for the space that you're using i don't think i'd go with a 400w light. and if you're looking for a cheap 150w hps you should check out this link.http://www.e-conolight.com/Product/EProductDetail.asp?ProductFamilyID=7&FGNumber=E-MT6H151G


if the link doesn't open to the light the first time close it and open it again it will work. but its only 20 bucks. and if you call them to place your order they will wave the shipping for the first purchase. So you pay 20 bucks for a 150w hps light. which is a steal if you ask me. and also i would try sticking a 6" oscillating fan in there. you can pick one up for under 20 bucks also. Anyway hope this helps!

Hey there we go,

I can see your pics just fine. You’re a regular webmaster now.

Glad to see you’re still in business. I know you got the 400w free and you’re on a budget so if you’re going to use the 4oo you will need to cool it.

Really for that size you could use a 250w and get a decent harvest. You could put ten cfls in there but will still need to cool them and get fresh air in there.

What I am getting at is the cost. It would be cheaper to get two 4" or 6" duct Booster fans and keep the 400w. Run one in the lower wall of the cab as intake and one through the upper wall for exhaust. You would be set for under $80 When ya run into some cash go to an aquarium shop get a pump called a power head and some air tubing for like $25 Drop the pump in a bucket (your drip system is almost there) Go to local Hardware store and pick up a cheap timer for $5 and hook it up. Bingo, you set for like $105
Just an idea,

I took a look at Naudia and see the spots. Can you pick them off? She is a hardass she can take it. Mold? I don’t know.
In order for mold and mildew to form it needs moisture and the absence of light.

I haven’t seen it in a grow box before but then I never seen one under a sink either. Maybe that’s your problem. Check your sink drain for leaks, then line your box with some plastic. Maybe use a garbage bag or something.

Maybe that will help.

In other news...I have made my mind up to move my plants. Going to be moving them into my closet just have to first take the shelvs and all the shit out of there and build a box and what not with vents!! i said it VENTS!!!! wooop and vans and all its goin to be the shit any ways starting that project tomrrow morning seeing as how its almost like 10 and doint want to be hitting shit with a hammer when every one is trying to sleep :P(im going on with this way to long so im going to stop now lmfao)


I am going to tranfer ina and naudia into new BIGGER pots tomrrow morning with new soil and perlite make them all happy and what not and get better dranage then im getting right now so thats whats going down for now any questions or comments are welcome thanks guys/gals!!!!

Same as Ina hope that naudia is ok we had a some stuggels but i think she will do fine she is a hard ass and i think my ph is all FUCKED so i have to really get a ph tester...there is slight browning on naudia's 2 biggest leavs other then that i think every thing is going good... lol

And we got 3 more seeds that went into the new soil today all are cracked and had root tail so we will see how those go..there under some cfl's next to the big girls.





Hopefully will have some time to my self tomrrow and i will get to empty out my closet and get a lock on my closet doorknob and get the grow box built in there with some fans for vents and what not its gana be good i think if i really take some time and get it thought out good.

thank you :P i got my closet all cleard out just cant figure out how im going to put the light in there :( and i plan on cutting holes in the top left side of the closet and the bottem right side to make vents or somthing still need help figureing out how im gana do all this

TODAYS UPDATE


so today i got my light setup in my closet and lowerd a shelf so that the balast and is under the plants :x you can see in pics...

any ways im going to need to vent this closet some how...still trying to figure that out

light is on for now i have to go by a thermomitor so i can check temps in there giong to leave it on for a while and see how hot it gets in that bitch.


any ways here are the pics...

So i went to the store today and got a pH test kit with pH ^ and pH v...tested my pH and guess what it was LMFAO WAYYYYYYYYY over what the test could even read and that is over a 7.8 i put pH down in the water im going to use to water them just dont know how much water i should put on these girls sense i just put them into these pots any ways should i flush with the new pH'd water? or what should my next step be..


And i got a thermometer and ATM i am testing the temps in my new closet box. Light off 60 degrees F. Light on TBD.(will update in 20 min..letting light warm up and letting the thermometer sit in that bitch for a while...

any ways any comments or advise is more then welcome and if some one could help me out thinkin of what i should do with this box...that would be the shit..i think im going to build 2 walls on each side of the light blah i dont know yet i will figure it out when its time for them to go under the big light...
