EDIT- I just realised i got another timer lying about so im gonna use that to keep the fan on longer by itself. Sometimes i get so set into one way of doing something it makes other things more complicated lol
Hi i know this sounds like exactly what your told not to do, but i think im gonna need to do it.
I just need some people to share their experience of shifting the light schedule during preflowering/ early flowering, and the best ways to do it without stressing the plants to the point of going hermie
Basically i have a stealth grow, my filter turns off when my lights turn off so that its not noisy during the night (the wind is what makes most the noise, not the fan) and my lights and filter are currently set to turn off during mid evening. Now that they have started preflowers, I notice that the smell is slowly creeping out the growroom and by an hour later my room smells of weed, and things are only gonna get smellier from here on in.
I want to shift my light schedule by 2 hours in total, and im thinking of doing it by half hour each day, for 4 days. Or i could do it by 15 minutes each day for 8 days.
Has anyone done this before and it has worked well with no stress?? Thanks for any help
