If the leaves are shiny and the effect is consistent, not spotty, it is a sign of a healthy plant getting plenty of soluble nitrogen I believe. Spotty shines can be an indicator of pests. Are the leaves sticky at all? If not, no worries.

One of my plants (outdoors) is having a major growth spurt and the leaves look like the photo, very dark green and shiny. Other 2 all green but not much shine. Haven't fed in over a week, guessing if I did now I'd risk burn. In Ocean Forest so probably getting shit tons of nitrogen

some of my leaves look shiny or glossy. is that a bad thing? if so, how is it corrected?
I have this condition right now myself. Don't know if it's the reason, but I found out halfway through my soil was 9.01 pH. I started loosing leaves bad when flowering began, and realized it was nutrient deficiency due to poor uptake capabilty in high alkaline soil. I was able to compensate by regular (Fox Farms) feeding, and now have little leaf loss, but still have the sheen:

You won't get a reply.........the OP hasn't been around for 13 years.
That being said.........you have a bug infestation.

I have to agree with the bug infestion. The little white spots look a lot like mites. Do you have an eye loupe? They are very hard to see without one. Amazon has them for less than $10.
