I always wanted to do this. Here in Phoenix they go for about $900-1,000 for a nice 40' size. You can even stack them on top and have a veg & flower room. My plan was to buy some land fenced in and put a couple of these containers to grow. Just leave it above ground, cool it with a mini split, lock that bitch with those stanley container locks construction companies use ( remember they lock up millions of dollars of equipment with these type locks. ) Again I'm in AZ so I wont have to worry too much about the elements besides the heat, its so dry here its hard for anything to rust. But yeah fuck burying that. No one is going to know whats going on in there unless you are careless.

Yeah shipping container is a great idea. I have a friend who does climate control automation for a living and almost started a company that would produce shipping containers fully set up for grows. I think the investor fell through however.

If you are serious about building one, sky is the limit homey, whatever you can think of that works in a normal room should be doable if you have the money. Major logistics would be getting power to it. Burying it is a cool idea as well if you have the land and the means. I had entertained burying one or 3 as a bunker in case of the apocolypse, but got over it.
