Lemme guess, you saw a lot of people get excited about really expensive crappy buds because they were big and purple? :)

It's frustrating just to watch people shop for buds in a club.

but... but... if its Purple it has to mean its the best. could have blue mold on it and people will think its " The bomb "

To be fair, these places are run by stoners, that is not efficiently, and operating expenses are HUGE. Plus the donations to local police to stay open are never ending. The expenses add up.

ps. I quit one of the better dispensaries in CA because of what you are suggesting, and my similar feelings. Just trying to be fair.
If the cops are getting "Donations" to stay open. Wouldn't that be considered extortion? Or are the "Donations" a contractual obligation that comes with the city's regulation statutes?

WOW... i never even thought of doing the math. Forget the DEA busting the doors down, just send in the IRS. im all for pot being used for medical reasons. but figures like you put up that are cash and tax free is what im not for. i hate to say it but if i have to pay my taxes while i work my ass off to pay my own bills, places like these need to get in line so medical marijuana can stay legal for medical users.

i wonder if you can write off buying Pot at the legal co-ops you can for other type of medications lol
The only problem with that logic is that on a federal standpoint it's still illegal and the paying of taxes on it is a legal admission of that illegality. In addition to that, there is no taxation on "medicine", so it fouls the logic even further, except for of course cannabis? Somebody care to explain this???

Cops, hookers, and politicians all love donations.

3 more San Jose dispensaries were raided yesterday. The police have vowed to raid every dispensary in Santa Clara County.

Hmm, this is starting to make sense. I usually sell my extra meds to a S.J. delivery service called Stanktuary. A couple weeks ago when I was getting ready to harvest I emailed them with no response. Then I checked their web site and it is closed. As far as I know they were legit (I checked their paper work and they checked mine). Good guys, hope they're just laying low.

Anybody know?

Peace

It doesn't matter how legit the collective is. Any collective that receives ANY financial compensation for medicine is being raided.

and unfortunately MMj laws are not that strong statewide. napa is the same way. that's how it's going to be until we pass stronger medical legislation or recreational.

Word. We needs rights badly. You're right, we need either clearly defined medical law or recreational. Even the most poorly written recreation law would take the heat off the medical community.
