ok here it is in a nut shell I have to get every single bit of size, resin, potency I can outta my plants. I am using ALL the foxfarm products indoors ,using a 50/50 mix of ocean forest and light warrior soils. I have done the <super crop method> this time, as well as bend and stake the plant to one side for 2 weeks. And now bent it over to the other opposite side now. I am growing super girl a f1 hybrid, 65%indica 35% sativa feminized. I am also using grape sweet, for flavor. And as always I am constantly trying to find out ways to Enhance resin and flavor and yield...Anyway I was talking to this guy who grew outdoors for years. Anyway he told me that I can <shock the plant to enhance resin and thc and get a tremendous boost in flavor>.....He said to 7 to 5 days before cutting her down to flush with 1 gallon of water per gallon of dirt and the last gallon I use add a half dose of sweet and then put back under the light until the pot is just about dry..Then go to the bottom of the plant just outta dirt and almost break it in half and bend the whole plant almost over. Then leave it under the light till the pot is light as a feather ,no water in dirt at all and the plant is showing signs of needing water..Then he said brake off a leaf and suck on it if all I taste is water then put in darkness for 24hr and cut....He told me that by flushing and adding the carbs that the plant will still feed on the carbs which helps resin and taste. Also said that the breaking the plant and bending it over will <shock> the plant and it will go into emergency survival mode and just suck everything up faster than normal getting everything there is to get into the flowers. Then wait until the bucket is as light as a feather to ensure all fert,,. have been flushed out,, <thats why you chew on the stem >,, and that the drying and curing will go way faster because theres way less moisture in plant... HAS ANYBODY HEARD OF THIS OR WAS HE BULL SHITTING? please educate me, I don't want hay smelling bad tasting flowers and i want the thc to be unreal.

I have never heard of this! the concept make sense and in theory and in a perfect situation this would work great! the thing is that perfect situations dont come around often. i Have heard of lollypopping the shit out of the bottom branched right before harvesting to put the plant in shock and suck up nutes to maximize thc yield. so thats kinda the same thing. i have no clue when it comes to flavor or breaking the stem off and hanging it up side down and pumping w/e into it. personaly that sounds silly to me. but who knows the only way to find out is to experiment... i personaly would pull a set of clones and give it a test run with half of them and the other half let go normal.

the theory is sound, but i would definitly experiment with this before i put a whole crop to the test lol
