Shoe box drying..

Was having a chat with my friend who has had several sucessful harvests and he was baffled as to why am planning on hanging my plants on string and then curing in glass jars. He stuck his in shoe boxes in the dark and gave them a little stir every few days and come out with some lovely bud. Is this advised? I asked because I am hanging them in my girlfriends room and there is nothing much which I can really string more buds up on.

i think you will find that if you cure your gear it will have a much smoother taste

Avoid the mold and hang em...........

I use boxes as well. I just make sure I trim them really well and stir them up often. Mine come out fine. No mold.

I am also using liquor tins. They work excellent. I only wish I had more of them 'cause I only have 3.

I think putting them in card board boxes after they are well trimed is fine. But only for a few days then you really should jar them up the slow cure brings out the best in your MJ..

I leave mine in there for a week cause I have big buds BUT I only fill the box about 1/4 to 1/3rd full. With it being well trimmed there is enough circulation going through to prevent mold.

mine came out fine but i checked them like once a day for fresh air.

I usually hang for 4 days then either put my buds in jars or in shoe boxes till I can keep my humidity at 62 without above if they do rise above I put them back in the boxes .
