Good friend told me I need to update my journal with some nug shots and smoke reports so here is my attempt.
I apologize beforehand about the pics it’s a slow work in progress.
Field trip
Very typical cookie taste.
Kinda bland and very vanilla boring
Decent potency and quick behind the eyes effects I’d say 7.5/10 and not what I reach for first. Very social smoke that provides giggles instead of pain relief.
Too small of a yielder to ever be run again in my small space but one to revisit when veg time is irrelevant.
Hinduhp #1
This one has a very og kush sort of taste.
Very harsh and immediate effects and a good body buzz with just a pinch of head.
I’d rate it a 7/10 because it doesn’t make me want to smoke it and isn’t enough on its own for my liking. I’ve kept and revegged this plant but I don’t think it will be reran in my cabinet.
Gg4 x lbl s1
This was my surprise of the last run.
Two distinctly different phenos.
One had a muddy dirt smell and very earthy taste but this beauty was super mango goodness. A nice heavy head and body solid 7.5-8/10
Has such a sweet flavour I’m constantly wanting to smoke more of it.
Going to hope this shows up in one of my last two plants and cuts will be kept.
Hhp2 was no where near as good as 1 so I haven’t really smoked much of it and already killed the reveg and clone.

Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to try any of those outdoors and most likely won’t ever.
I did have a more cowbell female out last year and it went in the ground June 1 and didn’t start to flower til the end of July when it was chopped in mid October it was at least two or three weeks early but the frost had come.
I have zero faith in plants finishing outdoors up here so I won’t be planting any myself.
I know your climate is similar so I’d recommend od only if you have a way control the light access.
My buddy is doing a bunch this year so I’ll monitor his and see if I’m wrong about it being worthwhile

Good to know bro.. I have three MC x LC 's in veg and I generally shut down indoors in the summer months so I thought I would ask before I put them in the flowering room.. I'm thinking about doing light deprivation on some plants outdoors this year.. just got to find some plastic or material that is light proof.. I may give a few of these a try and see what happens..

I’ve got 3 of the mc lc in my flower cab and they are heavy cookie looking ie veg them bigger then normal for a good yield otherwise it’s gonna be a smaller cookie type yield but hopefully the smoke is fantastic

Right on.. so far the LC f3's I've got one male and four females ( three in flowering room) was thinking of hanging on to the male for later use, have decided for sure yet..
And by cookie looking, just in looks or is there cookie in the Gene's of the MC or LC?

So there’s cookie in it and it seems dom
The weird thing is my 3 mc lc in flower have more of an acidic chem smell. One is really ammonia smelling. Both the lucky charms and mc were good potent smoke so I can’t see there being many duds but only one way to find out.

The chem smell in my mc lc could be from the lc papa.

Looking great @torontoke, i was liking the structure of that HinduHP #2 shame the smoke was not great.
The gg4 ibl s1 is looking very promising.

It’s been a pleasant surprise.
I’m with u on the hhp2 structure it was nice but the smoke wasn’t half as good as the other one and plant counts have a way of keeping things honest.
I’ve enjoyed every gg4 lbl I’ve ran
Even the dirty mud pheno is nice smoke

The pn mom smelled of bluedream sweet and very very sticky. The dad carried the cherry flowers and rosewood spices that the favored females had, the structure looks dd influenced, i hope you get the terps of dd and the frost of pn. If they're shit my apologies in advance

I ran another pn dd in my tent and it flowered under glr in a solo cup. Tbh I forgot about it and still got near an oz of lemon cedar nugs.
The one I have currently isn’t giving off much smell just yet. Stem rub is earthy kush
It’s only half way through flower so hopefully it gets thick.

The hempy pots have officially run their course. After trying a bunch of other things in the tent now to solve the growth problem I decided to switch them all back to promix, since I can’t afford any other options I don’t already own.
These plants in my cab will be the last hempies.
The seedlings in promix seem way happier then any I’ve had in the last while.
Hopefully this helps buffer out some of the tip burn and other issues that kept popping up.
