i know that plants will double n tripple there size by the time you've finished flowering...so with this in mind a plant that is 18-24 inches tall will see hights of 5-6 feet when done...i flower plants at 3 weeks an still end up with a few bean stalks as tall as me... so how tall are your plants ne way.

i know she's great.:hump:
That's the Little Mermaid if I recall correctly.

On topic, 7-8 weeks sounds good if you want to keep your plants from getting too big. Then again if you have the space veg. 'em longer. Like someone already said, they'll double or triple in size during flowering. So use that as a way to measure. Post pics!

You'll eventually be able to tell, trust me. Don't rush it, and don't come to conclusions.

Basically, at the nodes (where the branches come off the main stem), if it's a male, you'll see stamens. On cannabis, they look like little football shaped pollen sacks. Inexperienced growers can sometimes mistake an unopened growth sprout for pollen sacks, though. Let these "footballs" grow large enough until you're sure. As long as they're still green, you're generally safe.

Females have white hairs coming out the nodes. The pistils are strands that look like hairs, rather. You'll be able to tell the females pretty quickly as they mature.
